The Cowichan Valley Regional District (The “Cvrd”) Invites Submissions From Established And Experienced Contractors (“Contractor”) To Provide Security Services, For Both Scheduled Services And As Needed Requests For The Following Three (3) Cvrd Facilities/Locations:• Cowichan Community Centre (Ccc), 2687 James St, Duncan, Bc V9l 2X5• Cvrd Ingram Office (Ingram Building), 175 Ingram St, Duncan, Bc V9l 1N8• Cowichan Aquatic Centre (Cac), 2653 James St, North Cowichan, Bc V9l 2X5the Primary Role Of The Security Services Would Include Maintaining A Security Presence Inside The Ccc, Including All Public, Rented Or Leased Spaces, As Well As Surrounding Parking Lots And General Vicinity. Services Are Required On A Regular Basis From Monday To Friday, Saturday, Sundays And Stat Holidays.Security Services May Also Be Required At The At The Following Location, On An As-Needed And Often Event-Driven Basis.• Cowichan Lake Sports Arena (Clsa), 311 S Shore Rd, Lake Cowichan, Bc V0r 2G0the Eoi Process Is Expected To Result In Either One Successful Contractor To Provide Immediate Security Guard Services For Ccc And Ingram Building Or Establish A Roster Of Qualified Contractors Available On An As-Needed Basis.The Successful Contractor Will Be Required To Enter Into The Cvrd’S Form Of Agreement (See Appendix F). The Cvrd Under Its Sole Discretion Reserves The Right To Award The Contract In Full To One Contractor Or To Split The Contract With More Than One Contractor.Notes This Will Be The Only Notice Posted To Bc Bid Concerning This Project.
