Construction Work For Water Projects – Redesign Of Europaplatz Hameln - Lot 1 Bank Wall Including Prefabricated Steps Etc.. The City Of Hameln, Represented By Department 53 Urban Green, Is Planning The Development And Redesign Of Europaplatz. The Existing Path Connections Will Be Rearranged, The Green Area Will Be Adapted And A Staircase On The Banks Of The Weser Will Be Re-Planned. As Part Of The Landscape Architectural Redesign Of Europaplatz In Hameln, The Shoreline Needs To Be Redesigned. For This Purpose, Anchored Sheet Pile Walls To Absorb The Jump In The Terrain And A Staircase Are Provided. As Part Of The Redesign, The Demolition Of A Natural Stone Wall And The Partial Demolition Of An Existing Gravity Wall And The Jetty In The Southern Area Are Also Planned. Europaplatz / Stockhof Is Located On The Weser In A Flood Area. In The Area Of The New Bank Wall To Be Built There Is Currently An Embankment Partially Fortified With Natural Stone Blocks (As A Seating Area). Furthermore, The Current Shoreline Consists Of Partially Overgrown, Undefined Embankments/Landings. There Is A Gravity Wall In The Planning Area That Serves As A Bank Wall North Of The New Staircase. In The Europlatz Area, The Gravity Wall Was Demolished Close To The Surface As Part Of Previous Measures. The Exact Course Of The Gravity Wall And The Cross-Sectional Geometry Are Not Known. There Is A Jetty To The South Of The Planned Area. The Bank Wall There Was Built Using Sheet Piling In Front Of An Older Concrete Pier. In The Immediate Vicinity Of Europaplatz Are The Pied Piper Hall Hameln (Event Venue With Restaurant And Underground Car Park), A Passenger Ship Pier (Refurbished In 2014), The Commercial College, The Weserbergland University, The Melounge Restaurant, The Hotel Hameln, The Old Town And The Weser Cycle Path. Europaplatz And The Green Area Were Created As Part Of The Construction Of The Pied Piper Underground Car Park In The 1980S. The Underground Car Park Is At Its Narrowest Point, Approx. 14 M From The New Shoreline. In 1988, A Staircase Made Of Natural Stone Blocks Was Built On The Banks Of The Weser. The Planned Construction Project Is Bordered By A Gravity Wall In The Northern Area To Protect The Bank And In The Southern Area By The Passenger Ship Pier With Traffic And Lounge Areas Surrounded By Bank Walls And Reinforced Concrete Spars. The Work On The Green Area And The Route Is Not Part Of This Tender And Will Be Awarded In A Separate Construction Lot. The Main Component Of This Tender Is The Construction Of The New Bank Wall Including The Installation Of The Water-Side Stairs And The Construction Of A Beam Wall To Support The Embankment. An Angle Retaining Wall Must Be Built In The Northern Connection Area. Finally, A Structural Bank Protection Made Of Water Blocks Must Be Created In Front Of The Bank Wall. Furthermore, An Air Shaft In The Underground Car Park Must Be Closed Using A Reinforced Concrete Ceiling.
