The City Of Madison Is Soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals From Qualified Consultants To Provide Financial Advisory Services Under A Multi-Year Contract With Option Of Renewal.The City Recently Announced The Formation Of A Citizen Financial Advisory Committee To Improve Transparency And Increase Resident Participation In The Budgetary Process. The Mission Of The Citizen Financial Advisory Committee Is To Assist In The Formulation Of A Long-Range Financial Plan, To Review The City¿S Capital Plan, And To Review The City¿S Present And Future Borrowing Schedule, And To Foster Better Communication And Accountability In The City¿S Budgetary Process.Therefore, The City Seeks Proposals From Qualified Financial Advisors To Provide Independent Financial Advisory Services Related To Financial Planning, Capital Improvement Planning, And The Issuance Of Municipal Debt. The Selected Advisor Will Serve As The City¿S Independent Registered Financial Advisor And Will Provide Advice On Financial Strategy, Capital Planning, And Debt Issuance As Requested By The City.
