Eliteform Manufacturing Ltd Invites Tenders For The Supply, Delivery, Installation, Commissioning, And Training Of A Semi-Automatic Long-Length Sheet Metal Folding/Bending Machine Or Equivalent For Use In Cladding, Roofing, And Architectural Fabrication. The Equipment Must Be Suitable For Continuous Industrial Use And Capable Of Producing Accurate, Repeatable Bends And Hems On Long Sheet Metal Components. It Shall Process Materials Such As Mild Steel, Aluminium, And Stainless Steel Within Typical Industry Thickness Ranges. The System Shall Accommodate Long-Length Profiles (Circa 5 Metres Or Greater) And Support A Range Of Geometries Including Straight Bends, Hems, And Multi-Stage Folded Profiles. Key Requirements The Proposed Solution Shall Include, Or Be Capable Of Including, The Following: Semi-Automated Operation With Programmable Control, Adequate Working Length And Depth For Large Profiles, Robust Construction Ensuring Stability And Minimal Deflection, High Bending Accuracy And Repeatability, Capability For A Wide Range Of Bend Angles And Hemming Operations, Flexible Tooling Suitable For Complex And Pre-Formed Profiles, Programmable Positioning System (E.G. Back Stop) With High Accuracy, Compensation For Deflection And Material Springback (Manual And/Or Automatic), Integrated Or Compatible Cutting Capability, Cnc Or Equivalent Control System With Graphical Interface, Program Storage, And Simulation Capability,Connectivity For Data Transfer And Integration With External Systems, Reliable Hydraulic And/Or Electrical Systems Suitable For Industrial Environments Safety The Machine Must Comply With All Applicable Ce And Machinery Safety Regulations And Include Appropriate Guarding, Emergency Stop Systems, And Operator Protection Features. Scope Of Supply The Contract Shall Include: Delivery To Site, Installation And Commissioning, Operator And Maintenance Training, Provision Of Technical Documentation (Manuals, Drawings, Schematics) Support Tenderers Shall Provide Details Of Warranty, Spare Parts Availability, And After-Sales Support. Sustainability Tenderers Are Encouraged To Demonstrate: Energy-Efficient Operation, Durable, Long-Life Components, Reduction Of Material Waste Through Precision Control, Use Of Digital Tools To Minimise Errors And Rework Equivalent Or Alternative Solutions Will Be Accepted Where They Meet The Functional And Performance Requirements Outlined Above.
