General Procurement Notice for Procurement of Security Related Services as per the Security Plan- Shopping The Compact between the United States of America, acting through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), and the Government of Nepal (the Government or GoN) signed on 14 September 2017 (the Compact) sets forth the general terms on which MCC will provide assistance of up to Five Hundred Fifty Million United States Dollars (USD 550,000,000) (MCC Funding) to the Government for a program to reduce poverty through economic growth in Nepal (the Program). The Compact includes an additional investment of USD 197 million from the Government, for a total of approximately USD 747 million. Subject to the availability of funds, the Government intends to apply parts of the proceeds of the funds to payments for contracts for goods, works and services to assist the Government with the implementation of the Compact program in a transparent and sound manner.
