Tittelkaura Lighthouse Station - Exterior Renovation Of Lighthouse . Descriptionkaura Lighthouse Station Is Located Approx. 5.5 Nm West Of Bessaker In Osen Municipality, Trøndelag County. The Lighthouse Was Established In 1931 And Automated In 1959. The Lighthouse Is 22 Meters High And Stands On A 6.5 Meter High Plinth Of Natural Stone. Part Of The Stone Plinth Has Been Plastered With Lime And Painted White. Fyrstasjoen Is Protected Under The Cultural Heritage Act. Maintenance Work Must Be Carried Out According To Antiquarian Principles. Included In This Project Is Surface Treatment Of Cast Iron, Including The Plinth Against The Terrain And All The Way To The Top Of The Lighthouse Toe, Including The Tower Top. Surface Treatment Of The Associated Substructure And Boathouse Made Of Concrete Is Also Included. Glass Panes In The Lighthouse Must Be Dismantled And Reassembled After Surface Treatment. There Is No Electricity Or Water/Drainage At The Lighthouse Station. The Contractor Must Provide His Own Unit For Power Supply Throughout The Life Of The Project. Water And Wc Must Also Be Brought By The Contractor During The Construction Period. It Is Basically Not Possible To Spend The Night In The Lighthouse Building, It Is Not Approved For Accommodation. Water For Own Consumption Must Be Brought By The Contractor. All Transport To Kaura Must Be By Boat Or Helicopter. There Are Relatively Good Landing Conditions For Boats. (Simple Floating Jetty) See Attached Sketch. It Is The Contractors Responsibility To Ensure The Necessary Permits For Flying To/From And Landing At Kaura Pier Station. All Works Must Have An Antiquarian Design In Accordance With Conservation Regulations.
