Arts-Facility Operation Services – Public Service Concession For The Operation Of The Zénith De Caen. The Main Missions That The City Of Caen Intends To Entrust To The Concessionaire Are As Follows: • Operation At Risk Of The Zénith De Caen In Accordance With The Provisions Of The Zénith Label Specifications. The Dealer Must Commit To Ensuring The Sustainability Of The Zénith Label For This Equipment; • Hosting Shows: The Dealer Affirms The Vocation Of The Equipment For Popular Music And Concerts, In Particular Aimed At Young People (Variety, Songs, Rock, Jazz, Etc.) And Thus Offers The Public A Season Of Music And Shows With A Large, Eclectic Audience. The Artists Welcomed Must Be Artists Of International Or National Renown, Or In The Process Of Achieving This Renown. It Pays Particular Attention To Respecting The Diversity Of The Cultural Offering And Its Complementarity On The Local Territory. As Such, The Concessionaire Undertakes To Ensure That The Number Of Non-Cultural Events Does Not Exceed 30% Of The Total Events Per “Season” Which Extends From September 30 To June 15. • Support For Local Events And Cultural Action: In General, The Concessionaire Undertakes To Do Everything Possible To Insert The Zénith Into The Cultural Fabric Of The Caen Metropolitan Area, And To Seek Partnerships With The Operators Of Other Facilities In The Region. The Dealer Will Be Careful To Put In Place Measures Allowing Local Associations To Use The Zénith For Their Large-Scale Events. It Will Particularly Favor Events Bringing Together Several Partners And/Or Aimed At A Varied Audience Or Those Who Rarely Frequent The Zénith, And Particularly Family Audiences. The Dealer Will Also Be Attentive To Hosting Shows Involving Amateur Practices Carried Out By Caen Associations. The Dealer Is Committed To Developing An Initiation Activity Into The Performing Arts Professions Aimed Primarily At Schools And Young People, But Also At People In Difficulty. The Dealer Undertakes To Develop Any Activity Contributing To Social Cohesion Through The Implementation Of Cultural Actions Related To The Operation Of The Equipment, And To Promote Social Integration Through Awareness Of Social Issues And The Prevention Of Risky Behavior Through Musical Tools. • Implementation Of Additional Activities: Rental Of The Hall For Shows Or Any Other Event Open To The Public Or Private, Services Associated With These Shows Or Events, Bar And Snacks, Sale Of “Artists” Merchandising, Business Club, Rental Of The Hall For Any Event, Caterer/Cocktail/Dinner, Sale Of “Zénith” Books, “Zénith” Merchandising, Ticketing Expenses, Rental Of Spaces In The Zénith Car Park For Private Use (With Water And Electricity Supply): Product Demonstration, Marketing Operation, Etc., Service
