By Holding A Market Consultation, The Municipality Of Amsterdam Wants To Gain Insight Into How The Parties Deal With The Bio In Combination With The Vri. This Is Done To Obtain Input From The Market Before The Tender Is Started. The Municipality Of Amsterdam Has An Extensive Road Infrastructure With A Large Number Of Traffic Control Machines. This Infrastructure Undergoes Changes And Expansions Every Year. There Are Currently Approximately 400 Traffic Control Devices In Use. Traffic Control Devices Are Periodically Replaced As They Reach Their Technical Or Economic Lifespan. In Addition, Traffic Control Devices Are Being Adjusted And New Ones Are Being Purchased For Adjustments Or Expansions Of The Infrastructure. The Current Area Of Traffic Control Devices Is A Result Of Historical Development, Composed Of One Brand / Supplier. The Management, Maintenance And Carrying Out Of Changes To The Installed Traffic Control Devices Is Currently Organized Through The Contract With This Supplier, Who Provides These Services Until The End Of The Lifespan Of Those Devices. The Current Agreement For The Supply, Maintenance And Implementation Of Changes To The Traffic Control Devices Expires And Can No Longer Be Extended. The Municipality Of Amsterdam Therefore Needs To Contract A Contractor Through A European Tender. The Standards Framework “Government Baseline Information Security 2.0 (Bio)” Describes All Measures And Controls That Must Ensure That Information (Data) In Systems And By End Users Is Handled Correctly. The Bio Will Be Declared Applicable For This Tender, Together With A Translation Into The Way In Which The Bio Should Be Applied Within The Municipality Of Amsterdam For Traffic Control Devices. Through The Market Consultation, The Client Wants To Share This Information With Market Parties And Gain Insight Into How The Market Parties Feel About This. Two Appendices Apply To The Market Consultation, These Are Listed Below: • Appendix 1 Questionnaire; • Appendix 2 Bio Interpretation For Vri V.0.9 Draft.
