The Innsbruck Sewage Treatment Plant Operates A Two-Part Aeration Tank With Ventilated And Non-Ventilated Zones For The Biological Treatment Of The Resulting Wastewater. The Pools Are Aerated Using Three Turbo Compressors And Strip Aerators For Optimal Oxygen Distribution. The Aerator Elements Have Reached Their Life Expectancy And Should Be Replaced. Furthermore, Nine New Partition Walls Are To Be Erected In The Pools, Which Were Most Recently Designed As Tarpaulins And Are To Be Replaced By Solid Partition Walls. The Replacement Should Be Staggered For The Two Pools: The Ventilation For The First Pool Should Be Replaced In 2026, The Second Pool Should Follow In 2027.
