Architectural, Engineering And Planning Services – Raising The Pollhorn Main Dike North. The State Office For Roads, Bridges And Waterways Builds, Maintains And Operates A Large Part Of Hamburgs Transport Infrastructure And Is Responsible For The Entire Life Cycle Of This Urban Infrastructure Asset. This Includes Bridges And Other Structural Engineering Structures (E.G. Noise Barriers And Pedestrian Tunnels) As Well As Water Management Systems (E.G. Locks, Barrages And Pumping Stations), Bank Reinforcements And The Navigable Part Of The Alster, Bille And Their Canals. He Is Also An Important Player In Flood And Water Protection In Hamburg. Project Description Pollhorn Main Dike North The State Office For Roads, Bridges And Waterways Intends To Raise The Pollhorn Main Dike. This Dike Section Is Located Along The Reiherstieg In The South-West Of Hamburgs Elbe Island Of Wilhelmsburg. The Planned Expansion Section Is Around 1000 M Long And Extends In The Northern Part Of The Pollhorn Main Dike From Dike Kilometer (Dkm) 18+655 To Dkm 19+700. The Dike To Be Expanded Is A Dike With A Clay Cover And A Sand Core. The Crown Height Is Currently Between +7.91 M Above Sea Level And +8.30 M Above Sea Level And Is To Be Increased Uniformly To +8.70 M Above Sea Level As Part Of The New Flood Protection Construction Program. As Part Of The Increase, An Expansion Reserve Must Also Be Provided, Which Allows The Possibility Of Implementing A Precautionary Measure For The Year 2100 To +9.50 M Above Sea Level. The Dike Section Is Characterized By Intensive Use Of Various Industrial And Commercial Areas On The Land And Water Sides As Well As A High Volume Of Road Traffic. In Addition, Some Harbor Railway Tracks, The Pollhornweg Track Group And The Former Pollhornweg Landfill Are Located In The Project Area. Overall, Various Coordination Discussions Must Be Held With Residents, Owners, Affected Institutions And Public Bodies In Order To Integrate The Technical Contributions Into The Planning. Due To The Limited Space And Given Boundary Conditions, Variants Other Than The Dyke Control Profile And The Current Dyke Course Must Be Considered. The Service Is Divided Into Three Stages, Which Should Be Ordered One After The Other. These Begin With The Preliminary Planning (Service Phase 2) According To Hoai And End With The Preparation Of The Award (Service Phase 6). The Project Must Be Processed As A Bim Project Across All Stages. In Principle, All Basic Services Of The Respective Service Profile Are Required In All Service Phases. The Phase-Related Services Must Be Carried Out Using The Bim Method. The Preliminary Planning, Draft Planning And Execution Planning Are Developed Based On Models. Planning Variants Should Be Viewed, Evaluated And Weighed Against Each Other Using The Bim Method. In Particular, The Different Available Space Requirements, But Also Technical And Legal Aspects, Should Be Considered And Presented, Including Model-Based Quantity And Cost Calculations.
