This Rfp Is Open To All Interested Parties.Caa Icon, Serving As The Development Manager On The Calgary Event Centre Project, Is Requesting Proposals To Support A Fully Operational Security Screening System, Including Walk Through Metal Detectors, Hand Held Metal Detectors And X-Ray Bag Scanners. The Rfp Documents Include Projected Patron Volumes Per Entrance Along With A Preliminary Assessment On Required Quantities Of Screening Systems. The Successful Proponent Shall Be Responsible For Providing All Labour, Materials, Equipment, Tools, Transportation, And Services Required To Supply, Install, Test, Commission, Train, And Support A Complete And Fully Operational Security Screening System, Including: A. Walk-Through Metal Detectors B. Hand-Held Metal Detectors C. X-Ray Bag Scanners. This Procurement Process Is Not Intended To Create, And Will Not Create, A Formal, Legally Binding Bidding Process. It Will Instead Be Governed By The Law Applicable To Direct Commercial Negotiations.
