Ivago Is Looking For A Provider For The Collection And Processing Of Small Hazardous Waste (Kga), Which Was Selectively Collected At 6 Recycling Parks (Ghent And Destelbergen) And At A Number Of Specific Locations Of City Services/Schools. Empty Containers Must Also Be Supplied For Selective Collection. The Assignment Covers A Period Of 4 Years And Starts On July 1, 2026. Kga Means Small Hazardous Waste, Also Known As Small Chemical Waste, Which Concerns Household Waste That Is Produced In Small Quantities, But Exhibits Dangerous Properties For Human Health Or The Environment. It Requires Specific Processing To Prevent Or Limit The Impact. Vlarema 5.2.2.1 Indicates What Is Considered Kga And Must Be Collected And Disposed Of. The Collection Of Motor Oil Is Part Of The Assignment, As Are Abandoned Medicines And Gas Bottles. At The End Of The Assignment, The Assignment Holder Must Remove The Receptacles Placed At The Recycling Parks And At The Locations Of The City Services At His Own Expense, In Consultation With Ivago.
