With The Construction Of The Elevator System, The Aim Is To Provide An Accessible Environment To All Floors Of The Building Of Building 3 Of The Shumen University For People With Disabilities In Accordance With Art. 53, Para. 1 And Para. 2 Of The Law On Persons With Disabilities And For All Teachers, Students And External Visitors, As Well As Improving The Overall Infrastructure Around The Building. The Building Of Corpus 3 Is Public State Property Of The Bishop Konstantin Preslavski Shumen University, Falls Under The Category Of Buildings For Public Service In The Field Of Education And Science And Is The Third Category - Constructions Under Art. 137, Paragraph 1, Item 3, Letter C Of The Zut. The Construction Of The External Elevator Will Be Towards The Southern Facade Of The Five-Story Building Of Building 3, With Administrative Address: City Of Shumen, Universitetska Street No. 115. The Elevator Tower Will Be Externally Located, With An Entrance/Exit For People In A Disadvantaged Position On Elevation 0. The Elevator System Should Have A Total Of 6 Stops (1 On Elevation 0 + 5 For Each Of The Floors). The Elevator Stops Will Be Built On The Site Of The Existing Southeast Loggias, Which Are Being Remodeled In Such A Way As To Provide Unhindered Access For All Elevator Users To The Central Corridors On Each Of The Floors Of The Building. On The Ground Level, The Elevator Will Open To The Courtyard, And On The Floors It Will Open On The Opposite Side, Representing A Walk-Through Type. Access To The Elevator Will Be Covered With New Concrete Slabs And Tactile Strips In Accordance With Art. 57-59 Of Ordinance No. Rd-02-20-2 Of 26.01.2021 For Determining The Requirements For Accessibility And Universal Design Of The Elements Of The Accessible Environment In The Urbanized Territory And Of The Buildings And Facilities. A Total Of 36 Parking Spaces Is Available - On The Property, In Accordance With Item 28 Of Appendix No. 5 To Art. 42 And Art. 50 Of Ordinance No. Rd-02-20-2 Of December 20, 2017 For Planning And Designing The Communication And Transport System Of The Urbanized Territories, Where A Total Of 20 Units Are Required. It Is Planned To Allocate Two Accessible Parking Spaces In The Parking Area In Accordance With Art. 22 Of Ordinance No. Rd-02-20-2 Of 26.01.2021 For Determining The Requirements For The Universal Design Of The Elements Of The Accessible Environment In The Urbanized Territory And Of The Buildings And Facilities. In Addition To Them, It Is Also Planned To Allocate Two More Accessible Parking Spaces Near The Main Entrance.
