The Current Vehicle Does Not Fulfil The Municipality ́S Need For Water Capacity And Stand-By, As Well As The Current Requirements Or Standard. The Municipality Has A Large Geographical Area With Scattered Settlement And Cottage Population, Long Turn-Out Distances And Demanding Driving Conditions, Including Narrow And Steep Roads. The Fire-Brigade Handles A Wide Range Of Emergency Responses, Including Fires In Buildings, Fires In Forests And Outlying Areas, Traffic Events/Accidents And Much More, Where Access To Water Can Be Limited And Self-Capacity Is Decisive. The Procurement Is Being Carried Out To Meet Increased Contingency Needs And The Current Requirements For Safety, Working Environment And Transport Of Crews, As Well As To Ensure A Reliable And Future Orientated Tank Lorry That Can Be Included In The Fire Service ́S Operational Service Year Round. Description Of The Assignment The Assignment Includes The Delivery Of One Complete, New Tank Lorry For Fire And Rescue Service, Including The Necessary Equipment To Be Put Into Operative Operation. The Vehicle Shall Be Delivered Eu Certified And It Shall Be Built In Accordance With Relevant Standards For Fire-Fighting Vehicles. The Lorry Shall Be Adapted To The Municipality ́S Topography And Road Standard, With Good Accessibility And Capacity For Water Transport And Water Supply By Commitment. The System Shall Also Ensure Safe And Ergonomic Transport Of Crews, As Well As Having High Operational Security For Year Round Use. The Delivery Shall Also Include Appropriate Fixtures And Fixing Systems For Fire Material, Standard Accessories, The Necessary Documentation, As Well As Training And Service/Post-Inspections In Connection With The Hand Over.
