Tender For Special Repair To Road From Post No 1 To Post No 5 And Post No 5 To Shed No 18 Under Ge Nams.; 1 Repair to pot holes ofdepth,not exc 30mm area not exc 1.0 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc cutting around edges to at least 30mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat with paving bitumen @ 5Kg per 10 Sqm (VG-30), putting in premixed bituminous macadamwell rammed and sealed with binder@ 9.8Kg per 10 Sqm (VG-30), binded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed to true surface (including supply of premix macadam binder and chipping to uniform surface) complete, all as specified and directed.Note : Material for premixed bituminous macadamshall be mixed in hot mixing plant. 2 Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 Sqm and preparation of top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt /dustetc and other deleterious, materialand applyingevenly a priming / tack coat using with bituminous primer ofpaving bitumen (VG - 10) @8Kg per 10 Sqm,ofroad surface complete, all as specified and directed. 3 Material and labour Premixed bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with using 20mm graded stone aggregate and paving bitumen @ 4% by the weight of total mix(consolidated thickness 75mm thick or less or as required) rolled and compacted with 10 to 12 Tonne power road roller to requiredgradient and camber complete, all as specified and directed. 4 Material and labour for preparation of top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt /dustetc and other deleterious, materialand applyingevenly a priming / tack coat using with bituminous primer ofpaving bitumen VG - 10 at the rate of5Kg per 10 Sqm,ofroad surface complete, all as specified and directed. 5 Materail and labour for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm (minimum consolidated thickness) with 5.5% binderpaving bitumen (VG - 30)content by weight of total mix, using hot mix plant and spreading with machenical paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient and for uniform smooth surface by using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacitycompleted all as specified and directed.Note :- (a) Material for SDAC shall be mixed in hot mixing plant.(b) Mix design of bituminous SDAC will be got done from approved lab.(c) The premix carpet shall be laid with mechanical mixer as specified in clause 20A27 of MES SSR Part-I the spreading of premix carpet shall be done by mechanical sensor only. 6 Supply and fixing in replacement for cat eye reflective type metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No DA 972.0 or equivalent make as per Make of Appxfixed with & including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturer instructions complete, all as specified and directed. 7 Material and labour for preparation of bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n.exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete, all as specified and directed. .
