In View Of The Legal Right To A Mandatory All-Day Primary School From 2026, The Municipality Of Altdorf Is Planning To Expand The Primary School In Altdorf Into An Open All-Day School. The School Is Currently Designed As A Single Class, With An Average Of 20 Students Per Year. The Extension, Which Does Not Have A Basement, Consists Of 2 Additional Classrooms, A Cafeteria With A Kitchen And A Single-Field Sports Hall, Is To Be Built In Solid Concrete Construction With Steel Supports And Steel Beams, As Well As Masonry. The Roof Structure Of The Sports Hall Is Planned With A Trapezoidal Sheet Metal Shell On Laminated Wood Beams, And The Roof Structure Of The Cafeteria Is Planned With Cross-Laminated Timber Elements. The Classroom Extension Section Is Structurally Designed In Such A Way That A Later Addition Is Easily Possible. A Wheelchair Lift Will Be Installed In The Auditorium. On The Upper Floor (Teachers And Administration Wing), Various Windows Have To Be Removed And The Parapets Have To Be Raised And New Windows Installed. The Best. The Gas Heating System In The Basement Of The Existing Building Will Be Dismantled And The Existing Building Will Be Connected To The New Heating System In The New Building.
