Construction-Site Supervision Services – Construction Supervision Vde8.1: Güterzugstr. 5950 And 5955 Conversion South. Preliminary Measures Km G 4.5-Km G 6.7. As Part Of The Implementation Of The Vde 8.1 Freight Train Line Project, Numerous Construction Measures Are Necessary In The Construction Section Between Km G 4.5 And Km G 6.702 (Award Package 1 - Conversion South), Which Must Be Monitored Throughout The Entire Construction Process By A Construction Supervisory Authority (Büw). The Construction Project Includes The Following Trades Or Basic Services: Kib, Superstructure, Ola, Cable Foundation Engineering, Tk, Lst, 50Hz, Environmental Büw, Geotechnical Büw, Surveying, Waste Management, Construction Operations Planning, Participation In The Lph. 6 And 7 As Well As Railway Operational Services And Security Monitoring. Award Package 1 Includes The Relocation Of The Existing Route 5950 As Well As The Construction Of A New Trough Structure And, Subsequently, An Open-Cut Tunnel With A Length Of Approximately 505M. The Adjoining Fürth Freight Train Tunnel (6,500 M Long), Which Is To Be Built Using Mechanical Tunneling, Is Part Of A Different Procurement Package. Due To The Highly Complex And Interlinked Construction Process, Award Package 1 Results In A Long Overall Construction Period Of Around 10 Years. At The Beginning Of The Construction Project, Initial Preliminary Measures (In Particular The Dismantling Of Existing Ola Cross-Fields In The Bf Nbg Wholesale Market And Extensive Underground Cable Construction) Are Required. After The Main Construction Work Has Been Awarded, The Existing Route 5950 Will First Be Extensively Converted. The Continuous Main Tracks Of The Route Are Being Moved Outwards One After The Other While The Wheels Are Rolling In Order To Create Space For The Future Trough Structure. The First Parts Of The Tunnel Structure Are Already Being Built Using The Cut-And-Cover Method. After The Commissioning Of Route 5950 In Its Final State (Planned For April 2032), The Construction Of The Trough Structure And The Completion Of The Tunnel Using The Cut-And-Cover Method Will Begin. The Superstructure, Technical Equipment And Overhead Lines Can Then Be Installed And The New Line 5955 Can Be Put Into Operation, Which Should Be Completed By The End Of 2035. The Services To Be Provided Are Divided Into Four Successive Phases. The Monitoring Of The Preliminary Measures From April 2026, Participation In Tendering And Awarding As Well As The Subsequent Monitoring Of The Main Construction Work Until The First Major Interim Commissioning Of Route 5950 In December 2029 Will Be Firmly Transferred. The Construction Of The Tunnel Section Using The Cut-And-Cover Method And The Final Relocation Of Route 5950 To The Intended Final Position Are Then Planned. These Construction Measures Are Included In Option 1 And Are Scheduled To Be Completed By April 2032. The Related Option 2 Includes The Complete Construction Of Route 5955 Including The Trough Structure, Up To The Implementation Of Trial Operations And Full Commissioning In December 2035. Option 3 Includes Remaining Services Associated With The Completion Of The Project, In Particular The Continuation Of Invoice Verification And Addendum Processing.
