Tender For Repairs Replacement To Cast Iron Covers And Gratings At Inhs Asvini.; 1 S & F in repairs cast iron work grade FG 150, articles exc 5 kg each unmachined, in brackets, gully traps/covers, gratings, railing, frames, manhole covers, fire and soot doors, dampers, stop valve boxes, gate stops, parts of ranges, balusters and similar articles all as specified & directed. 2 M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping, bed plates, kerbs etc.and similar work including necessary formwork weathring slightly rounded or chamfered all as specified & directed. 3 Demolition of RCC cover slab of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for including reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition and separating, scraping and cleaning of reinforcement and removing debris outside MD land.Note: The place of disposal shall be find out by the contractor outside the MoD land. 4 M&L for providing precast cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) in cover slabs for manholes, etc and similar articles with plain fair faces including chamfers, weathering, throating etc and setting in cement mortar (1:4) with joints to match.Note:- (i) Precast cement concrete cover shall be reinforced. Reinforcement shall be measured and paid separately. 5 M&L for TMT bars 6mm to 8mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with the clips. 6 Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar, including all quoins, arches, pillars etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work & precast concrete articles including copings etc.and removing debris outside MD land complete all as specified Note: The place of disposal shall be find out by the contractor. 7 M&L for brick work with sub class B bricks(old size) straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified. 8 Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for . 9 M&L MS framed work such as grills, gratings etc with ends of bars shouldered and or rivated or forged into spikes, framed guard bars and similar work as in drain cover confirming to Fe 410 or Fe 310 10 M&L for preparing new steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel over a coat of red oxide primer paint complete all as specified. 11 Taking down cement plaster of any description and in any position including raking out joints, hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc and removing of debris from site complete 12 M&L for rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM (1:4) and finished even & smooth without using extra cement completed all as specified. 13 S&Ffor Fe-410-W (Gde-E-250)quality-A plates (plain and chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment in drain cover, manholes cover etc complete all as specified and directed.
