The North Karelia Procurement Department Is Preparing The Purchase Of The Restoration And Upholstery Of The Chairs In The Ballroom Of The Art Museum. The City Of Joensuu Acts As The Contracting Authority. According To The Current Estimate, This Is A Procurement Below The National Threshold Value. There Are 16 Chairs With Armrests, The Other Chairs (184) Are Without Armrests. Pictures Of The Chairs Are Attached To This Information Request. The Service Subject To Procurement Includes: - Inspection Of The Frame Structure, Gluing And Screw Fastenings Of The Chairs, As Well As Stabilization Of The Structure, Including Any Glues And Screws.- Restoration Of The Wooden Parts Of The Chairs (Staining And Varnish).- Renewing The Upholstery Of The Chairs. The Upholstery Fabric For The Chairs Is Selected In Cooperation Between The Customer And The Selected Supplier, So That The Upholstery Fabric Meets The Quality Requirements And Is Suitable For The Purpose. The Fabric Is Ordered Separately, And The Customer Pays For The Fabric.- Changing The Foam And Wadding.- Installing High-Quality And Durable Felt Feet On Each Chair.- Searching For Chairs For Restoration And Upholstery In Joensuu And Delivery To The Place In Joensuu Specified By The Customer Are Included In The Total Price Of The Service (Delivery Condition Top). The Goal Of The Service Is To Preserve The Original Tone Of The Wooden Parts Of The Chairs. The Patina Of Time Can Be Seen In The Chairs, But The End Result Must Be Neat And Tidy, Because The Chairs Will Be Used In The Art Museums Banquet Hall. A Total Price Is Requested For The Service, Which Includes The Items Mentioned Above And All Related Costs (Excl. Upholstery Fabric). The Procurement Must Be Ready No Later Than 30 November 2026. A Closer Look At The Chairs That Are The Subject Of The Procurement Is Possible During The Bidding Period At The Museums Collection Center (Address Pamilonkatu 9, 80100 Joensuu). Request For Information In The Other Conditions Section Of The Request For Information, Questions Are Asked For Which Answers Are Requested. Any Other Possible Comments, Observations, Etc. Regarding The Purchase Are Also Welcome.
