Notice Is Hereby Given That Fraser Health Authority (The “Health Authority”), Through Their Agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“Phsa”), Intends To Directly Award A Contract To The Following Supplier To Provide One (1) 24’X60’ Modular Office Complex And Access Ramp For Surrey Memorial Hospital Located At 13750 96 Ave, Surrey, Bc V3v 1Z2 And Has An Estimated Value Of $200,000.00. Boxx Modular Lp 1052 272 Street Aldergrove, Bc Canada V4w 2P8 In Accordance With Applicable Trade Agreements Phsa, As Agent For The Health Authority Has Chosen Not To Proceed With A Competitive Process For The Following Reason The Goods Or Services Can Be Supplied Only By The Selected Supplier And No Alternative Or Substitute Exists For The Following Reason: A Change Of Supplier Would Cause Significant Inconvenience Or Substantial Duplication Of Costs For The Procuring Entity. Rationale Surrey Memorial Hospital Currently Has A 24’X60’ Modular Office Complex On Site. This Office Complex Was Originally Rented Under Procurement Exception Process Phsa-13020 As An Emergency Request To Address An Urgent Operational Requirement For An Emergency Room Overflow Waiting Area. This Office Complex Was Scheduled For Return In October 2025 But Remains Essential For Ongoing Operations. Removing And Replacing The Current Trailer Would Incur Additional Costs And Would Create An Operational Strain For The Pediatric Emergency Department And Patient Safety. Vendors Who Wish To Challenge This Decision Should Submit A Detailed Written Objection To The Attention Of Ted Gagnon, Buyer, By Email Before 2:00Pm Pacific Time, Dec 22, 2025.
