any description, any typeincluding loose plastering / screed , padding concrete etc if any and removing all loose particles with wire brushes, removing bitumen coating over original RCC slab by grinding, picking, , grinding of mother concrete slab to make surface smooth suitable for applying APP membrane as per manufacturers instructions, including removal of debris to a distanceexceeding 1.5 km but not exceeding5KM complete all as specified and as directed. 73 M & L , Preparation of surfaces by sweeping cleaning and washing down with water to remove dust and loose particles over RCC slab for providing roof treatment, removal of unserviceable debris to outside MD land, and applying bitumen primer @0.30kg/sqm providing and laying4mm thick APP modified water proofing membrane weight not less than 4.0 kg/sqm reinforced with non woven polyster mat weight not less than 160gm/sqm having softening point not less than 140 Degree centigrade longitudinal tensile strength not less than 800N per 5cm tearing strength of 180N (by torch application method) with minimum of 100mm side lap and 150mm end laps by application of torch. Applying a coat blown grade hot bitumen 90/15 over the membrane @ 1.20kg/sqm and applying a coat of silar reflective bitumenous aluminium paint @ 0.1Kg/sqm all as specified and as per manufactures instructions. The membrane shall be inserted in to the wall /parapet wherever required. mouth of rainwater pipes, gutters shall be properly treated to avoid ingress of the water. Note: (i) The rate quoted by the contractor shall be included for dismantling and refixing of PVC water tanks hoisted on roof,taking down and refixing of water tubing and any other fittings on roof as required and no extra shall be paid.(ii) The work shall be carried out complete as per manufacturer’s specifications and application methodology. Execution to be done with authorised trained / skilled applicator of manufacturer as per technical guidance laid by manufacturer. Company guarantee to be given by contractor after completion of water proofing work before payment. 74 M&L For PU injection Grouting as Under : 1. Drill Holes :- For aggresive leaks use instant plugging mortar. The crack that needs to be treated , should be studied in details for wall thickness and distance from the crack where boreholes needs to be drilled.2. Mechanical Packers :Providing and fixing non-return valves of @ approx 300-500 mm c/c staggered by drilling holes at cracks and leakage points at an angle 45 degrees of inclusive offlushing and cleaning of hole etc complete 3. Primary Injection : The injection process preferably done from bottom to top for vertical surface. After fixing non-return valvesInject SC 2K PU Injection PU foam with 2 component(Rapid foaming and setting solvent free frout for stopping flow of water) of Required Qty - which Creates a foam and expand over 30 times to its orginal volume when it comes in contact with water. Base and hardener mix proportion ratio 10:1 (Make - Asian Paints).4. Secondary Injection :To achieve permanant watertight crack sealing use of SC 2K PU injection resin is recommended wihtin 1 hour. In the predrilled holes and nozzles,after primary injection with foam, injectflexible plain polyurethane resin SmartCare 2K PU Injection Resin (Asian Paints) mix proportion by weight 2:1 ( Base: Hardener). of req Qty .Rates including staging/platform, lifts and leads all complete, with all the necessary tools, tackles, equipments & all required misc. itemsetc. to execute the job as per specification or as directed by Engineer-in-charge and/or Consultant.(Considered Avg 300grms per hole )Remove the injection packers and drill holes to be filled with SC Repair mortar to proceed for subsequent coating application. 75 M&L For Expansion Joint Treatment as Under : (i) Supply and apply of polyurethane/polysulphide sealant to expansion joint work includes - Insert backer rod of same or higher dia into the joint and apply polyurethane/polysulphide sealant - SC Hybrid PU Sealant/SC Polysulphide Sealant/SealArm PU. Ensure that depth of sealant filling is atleast 1/2 of the width of joint as minimum criteria.(ii) Supply and application of Tape TPE (Asian Paints) with adhesive ReArm Bond 4031 for 30mm width expansion joint. TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) Tape having Tensile Strength of >5Mpa, elongation of >400%, tear strength of 25 KN/m. Work includes applying of epoxy adhesive ReArm Bond 4031 first on the both flanges of the joint followed by laying tape and press it on the adhesive. Again apply second layer of ReArm Bond 4031 on the tape (sandwiching the tape with adhesive both on top and bottom). (c) Cost of PVC pipe 25mm dia high grade for ACs drain water suitable for outdoor mounting including connecting tees, bends, reducers etc. for leakage free jointing etc, including appropriate size PVC clamps and other required material for fixing on wall/cemented surfaces at heights as specified here in above complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.(d) Cost of making of holes to existing wall/wooden panelling etc. using core cutting machine of suitable dia for the run of copper refrigerant tubings, connecting cables etc. and making good the distrubed surfaces/false ceilings etc. complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. 109 (e) Cost of MS angle iron frames of minimum size 50 mm x 50 mm x 6 mm suitable for fixing of Outdoor Units of Split ACs 1.5 Ton including fixing on wall/other surfaces etc. with necessary fixing arrangements like nuts, bolts, washers etc. as required on ground inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.(f) Cost of PCC 1:2:4, type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in platform/plinth for embedding/holding of MS angle iron frames as cited here in above for fixing of Outdoor Units of Split ACs 1.5 Ton incl necessary formwork & applying two coats of white wash to exposed surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.(g) Cost of making good the disturbed surfaces incl matching to the existing/old surfaces.(h) Cost of neatly writing/marking MES Number on the body of Split AC Indoor Unit using stencil of size/dimensions complete all specified & as directed by the Engr-In-Charge. (j) Cost of 01 x Air Conditioning Changeover Timer, suitable for 2 x AC loads of 16 A i.e. AC1-16A & AC2-16A, with Auto & Manual mode with interval/gap time of 30 Mins, 1 Hr, 2 Hr, 3 Hr, 4 Hr, DIN Channel mounting for easy operation incl electric connection with suitable sized single core copper wires/cables & testing complete all as specified & as directed to the entire satisfaction of the Engr-In-Charge.(iv) All the necessary OEM/Auth Supplier Test Certificates as per relevant IS/IEC incl the Guarantee/Warranty Certificates is to be submitted in Original to the Engr-In-Charge.(v) Anything missed out in the technical specifications but technically required for efficient working of the AC is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.(vi) The contractor/firm is required to visit the site prior to quoting of the subject items/ work so as to ascertain the actual ground requirements. Make: Havells/Finolex/Polycab/Gloster 112 Excavation in trenches by mechanical means n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5m in depth for laying of pipe and getting out in hard dense soil complete. IMPORTANT NOTE: 1) The requirement of T&P (if any) for cutting the hard standing/PCC/WBM road/floor surface (if any) or during earthwork is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates. 2) If any damage to any Cable of Air Force/BSNL/MES etc. or to any Pipe lines develops/occurs during execution of the works then the same shall be made good by the Contr to the entire satisfaction of the concerned Dept/Section & the costs of the same is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates.3) Quoted rate is also deemed to be inclusive of clearing/removing/cutting of vegetation/tree branches/small to medium plantings/bushes etc. so as to facilitate successful completion of the work.
