The joints in CI/GI/PVC pipes, Nahani traps,WC, P/S traps shall be made leak proof. The gap around pipes in walls/beams shall be properly filled and sealed with water proof joint fillers. 63 M&L for PCC 1:5:10 type E2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in Mass concrete in sunken treatment. 64 M & L for water proofing treatment with the following specifications including taking down existing roof treatment of any description and cleaning with water and scrubbing and disposing off the rubbish outside the premises, complete all as specified and as per manufacturers instructions:-(i)Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:4 on concrete surfaces mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement as leveling course (ii)Apply a coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 @ 1.20 kg/sqm over a coat of bituminous primer @ 0.3 ltr per sqm.(iii)Laying APP membrane (STP Aquashield or equivalent) weighing not less than 3.5 Kg/sqm, reinforced with polyster non woven fabric (weighing not less than 150 gms/sqm) with 100mm over laps both longitudinally and transversally and overlaps shall be sealed by torch, membrane shall be taken to the parapet through fillet and shall be tucked in inside after a height of 300 mm.Note :- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately. 65 M&L for 10mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM 1:6 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. 66 M&L for 15mm thick rendering in two layers of 10mm thick backing coat in CM 1:6 and 5mm thick floating coat in CM 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound on all external wall surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement.
