Tender For Repair To Certain Roads Hardstanding Road Furniture And Misc Connected Items At Sg And Pts Sarsawa Under Ge Af Sarsawa; 1 Material and labour for repair to potholes of depth not exceeding 30mm, area not exceeding one sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc. by using pressured air, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), applying priming/tack coat with bituminous primer(paving bitumen grade VG-10) @ 5 Kg per 10 sqm by using mechanical sprayer, putting in premix as specified for thin bituminous carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (6.8 Kg of binder with 0.06 cum of sand), again well rammed (including supply of premix binder and sand) complete all as specified & directed.Note: A Board of Officers shall be ordered by GE well before execution of item to ascertain the quality, quantity & locations of work. 2 Material and labour for preparing of existing black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, grass etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags/air compressor to remove all dust/dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat of bituminous primer (paving bitumen grade VG-10) @ 5 Kg per 10 sqmby using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified & directed.Note: A Board of Officers shall be ordered by GE to ascertain the quantity & locations of item well before execution. 3 Material and labour for laying premix bituminous macadam using 20mm size graded crushed stone aggregate (grading 2 with nominal aggregate size 19mm), mixed with binder content (paving bitumen grade VG-30) @ 4% by weight of total mix, rolledand compacted with 8 tonne to 12 tonne power road roller to required gradient and camber using full width mechanical paver (consolidated thickness not exceeding 75mm) in single layer complete all as specified & directed. Notes: (i) For price adjustment of bitumen & other requirements of design mix, refer Sch A Notes/Particular specifications.(ii) A Board of Officers shall be ordered by GE to ascertain the quantity & locations of item well before execution. 4 Material and labour for laying 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous pre-mixed, hot mix, semi-dense asphaltic concrete with coarse aggregate of grading 1 as per MORT&H specification in single layer using binder content (paving bitumen grade VG-30) @ 5.5% by weight of the total mix as per design mix including supply and mixing of filler (OPC cement) laid, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using full width mechanical sensor paver with string sensor and compacted with 8 tonne to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified & directed. Note: For price adjustment of bitumen & other requirements of design mix, refer Sch A Notes/Particular specifications. 5 Demolition of Plain cement concrete (un-reinforced) as in kerb stone of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided including removal of debris to a distance not exceeding 500 mtr complete all as specified & directed 6 Material and labour for laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified & directed.Note: (i) The rates include for the use of forms, moulds or machine moulds and setting the blocks, slabs, etc. complete including raking back the joints of the internal faces (at least 10 mm) for pointing as the work proceeds or finishing with neat flush joints.(ii) Earthwork (if any) wherever requierd deemed to be included in quoted rates. 7 Material and labour forpreparation of newly plastered/concrete surface of any description over 10cm widthor girth not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (ordinary tint)over & including one coat of compatible primer complete all as specified & directed. 8 Material and labour for preparation of bituminous/concrete surface and marking/painting lines, dashes, arrows etc. on roads/pavements by hot applied thermoplastic road markingpaint(white/yellow) inclusive type I reflectorising glass beads as per table800-3, 800-4 of MORT&H, applied in uniform thickness of atleast 2.5mm and spread uniformly with reflectorising glass beads type II @ 250 gram per sqm & painting materials @ 650 gram per sqm with a road marking machine as per IRC: 35, with traffic diversion arrangements if required, complete as per MORT&H specification clause 803.4, complete all as specified & directed. Note: Hot applied thermoplastic road marking materials shall be confirming to BS 3262-1989. 9 Supply and fixing in repair cat eye solar reflective type of metal body of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm weight not less than 435 gms, having 50 mm long shank with PMMA striplens reflector & fixed and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified & directed. 10 Supply and fixing as in replacement Solar cat eye (100% water proofing design according to IP-67), any tint, 2 way, aluminium alloy shell body, size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (with shank of 65mm) having two highly reflective reflectors ,Solar powered by Mono-Crystalline solar panel fitted with 6 pieces(3 pieces on either sides) LEDs of different clolur with one high capacity Ni-cd rechargeable battery backup of 12 hours continuous lighting at night view distance 1000metre approx, designed to bear load upto 10 tonnes fixed with approved epoxy adhesive as per manufacturers instructionscomplete all as specified &directed. 11 For Credit Schedule refer tender documents. The amount of credit schedule shall be deducted in total quoted amount of BOQ to arrive contract sum.
