For Surveying Fishing Grounds, The Directorate Of Fisheries Wishes To Hire Fishing Vessels That Are Rigged And Suitable For Efficient And Appropriate Execution Of Trips, Including Catch And Catch Measurements. The Vessel That Is Hired Will Be Administered And Managed By The Directorate Of Fisheries Maritime Service. The Vessel Must Be Representative Of The Vessel Group In Terms Of Operating Pattern, Equipment, Catch Efficiency And Production Capacity, And Be Able To Operate Under The Same Conditions As Similar Vessels Operate. The Vessels Tasks Will Be To Carry Out Catching Operations In The Areas The Directorate Of Fisheries Representatives On Board Want. Priority Tasks Will Include Control Of Areas With High Fishing Pressure, Mixing Of Fish Below The Minimum Size And Sampling At The Request Of Collaborating Agencies Such As The Norwegian Institute Of Marine Research. The Starting Point Is That Three (3) Trips Are Carried Out, And That Each Trip Will Have A Length Of 21 Days. The Directorate Of Fisheries Will Enter Into An Agreement For The Hire Of One Or More Vessels To Cover All Periods Where There Is A Need To Hire A Vessel.
