The City Of Gürtersloh Intends To Supply The Underserved Areas Of The City As Part Of The Operator Model. The Passive Network Is To Be Leased To An Operator, The Concessionaire, Who Brings In The Active Technology, Keeps The Network Functional And Operational, Provides End Customer Services And Grants Open Access To Third Parties. The Implementation Of The Funded Project Takes Place In Particular Within The Framework Of The Framework Regulations Of The Federal Republic Of Germany To Support The Comprehensive Development Of Gigabit Networks In “Gray Spots” Of November 13Th, 2020 (Gigabit Framework Regulations), Guidelines For Funding To Support The Gigabit Expansion Of Telecommunications Networks In The Federal Republic Of Germany Of March 31St, 2023 (Gigabit Guideline 2.0). The Grantor Received A Preliminary Grant Notice From The Bmdv On November 27, 2023. It Is Also Intended To Take Advantage Of The Complementary State Funding From The State Of North Rhine-Westphalia (Co-Financing). The Preliminary Funding Decision For Co-Financing From The State Of North Rhine-Westphalia Is Not Yet Available. The Detmold District Government Granted Approval For The Early Start Of The Measure On May 29, 2024. The Subject Of The Concession To Be Awarded Is The Operation Of The Same And The Supply Of Previously Underserved Addresses With High-Performance Broadband Connections. Approximately 1,718 Addresses Should Be Supplied Symmetrically With At Least 1 Gigabit/S.
