Government Services – Comprehensive Gis Solution For Selected Zambian Institutions In The Context Of The Slim Project. The Subject Of Performance Of This Contract Is Described In More Detail In Appendix No. 1 - Description Of The Subject Of Performance. This Public Procurement (Tpp) Will Be Implemented As Part Of The Slim (Sustainable Landscape Through Integrated Management) Project, Which Is Being Implemented By The Czech Development Agency And Co-Financed By The European Union From October 2023 To September 2027. Its Aim Is To Introduce An Integrated Landscape Management (Ilm) Approach And Contribute To Increasing The Resilience Of Ecosystems And Preserving Biodiversity In Zambia Using Freely Accessible Satellite Data In Areas Such As Forestry, Agriculture, Water Management Or Environmental Protection, Including Predicting And Mitigating The Devastating Effects Of Natural Disasters. This Order Will Specifically Contribute To The Fulfillment Of Slim Project Activity No. 2.2.1. Entitled Provision Of Adequate Technological Capacities, Tools, Data Access And Geospatial Data Storage Infrastructure For The Crucial Data Domains. The Subject Of This Mou Is A Comprehensive Software Solution For A Total Of 12 Beneficiaries Of The Slim Project In Zambia, Which Is A Combination Of A Commercial Solution And Its Configuration And An Open-Source Solution That Will Need To Be Implemented And Programmed According To The Requirements Of One Of The Zambian Beneficiaries. It Also Includes Comprehensive Training Both In The Capital City Of Lusaka And In The Provinces. This Vz Aims To Design And Implement A Robust, Centralized, Secure And At The Same Time User-Friendly Gis Solution For 12 Public Administration Institutions, Including Their Decentralized Components, In Order To Enable Sophisticated Data Analysis, Complex Processes Of Data Collection And Editing, As Well As As A Result Of Informed Decision-Making, Among Other Things, In The Field Of Natural Disaster Prevention. The First Part Of This Solution Is Built On Esri Technologies (Arcgis Platform) And Sponsored By The Local National Remote Sensing Centre, Which, As A Holder Of The Arcgis Enterprise Advanced License, Will Be Responsible For The Operation Of The Server Gis Solution, I.E. Infrastructure Management (Web Server, Application Server, Database Server), Installation Of Fixes (Patches), Ensuring Compliance With Licenses, Securing A Permanent Connection, Performing The Necessary Data Backups, Etc., But Also Providing Support To The Other 10 Involved Stakeholders, Including Building Their Capacities And The Provision Of Expert Services For The Import And Transformation Of New Data Into The Central Geodatabase. The Aforementioned 10 Stakeholders Will Use Arcgis Pro Basic Licenses To Edit And Analyze Their Own Data, Which Will Be Stored In A Separate Part Of The Geodatabase And Possibly Shared Using Map Services Or Published Using Map Applications, The Development Of Which Is Also The Subject. The Second Part Of The Solution Is Built On The Open-Source Technology Identified By The Participant In The Procurement Process As The Most Suitable, Dedicated Specifically To The Forestry Department (Forestry Department; Fd) Of The Ministry Of Green Economy And Environment, And Lays The Foundation For A Robust Solution For Systematic And Technologically Advanced Data Collection And The Creation Of Map And Other Data Bases Necessary For The Effect
