Communications Infrastructure – Planning, Equipment And Installation Of The Infrastructure Of Aalto Universitys Computer Room Project. Aalto University (Hereafter The Client) Has Started A Project To Transform A Building Designed By Alvar Aalto On The Otaniemi Campus Into A Modern And Energy-Efficient Data Center. The Project Must Be Completed And In Use No Later Than February 28, 2027. Aalto-Yliopistokinteistöt Oy Is Responsible For The Renovation Of The Building. This Purchase Concerns The Overall Technical Delivery Of The Data Center To Be Implemented Inside The Building, Excluding The Servers. The Procurement Is Carried Out As A Total Responsibility Contract (Total Responsibility Contract Or Kvr Contract). The Selected Supplier Is Responsible For The Overall Design Of The Data Centers Technical Systems And Furniture, The Delivery, Installation And Commissioning Of The Equipment In Accordance With The Technical And Functional Requirements Set By The Customer And The Given Schedules. Totally Responsible Delivery Can Include Construction Engineering Implementations, Such As Penetrations. The Supplier Is Required To Work In Close Cooperation With The Party Responsible For The Renovation And To Coordinate His Own Plans And Installation Work Seamlessly With The Construction Work Carried Out By The Party Responsible For The Renovation. The Delivery Language Of The Project Is Finnish. All Responsible Persons Must Be Able To Function Orally And In Writing In Finnish, And All Project Documents Must Be Written In Finnish. The Following Key Areas Are Included In The Delivery (More Detailed Breakdown Appendix 5.1 Minimum Requirements (Equipment): 1) Planning And Execution Of Delivery And Installation. The Bidder Can Use The Customers Drawings In Appendix 5.9 In Its Plans As It Wishes. 2) Data Center Furniture And Accessories: - Data Center Cabinets (Racks) - Server Liquid Cooling Devices And Rear Door Cooling - Cable Management Systems And Other Installation Accessories - Delivery And Installation 3) Hvac Systems: - An Energy-Efficient Cooling System In Accordance With Data Center Requirements, Including Water Cooling Machines And Standard Air Conditioners - All Necessary Installation Materials Such As Hardware And Piping - Delivery And Installation 4) Electrical And Back-Up Power Systems: - Electrical And Back-Up Power Systems - Medium Voltage Switchgear And Transformers - Backup Power And Ups Centers - Upss With Batteries - Busbars And Pantographs - Back-Up Power Generator Supporting Multi-Generator Operation With Fuel Systems - All Necessary Installation Materials - Delivery And Installation 5) All Necessary Cabling And Other Electrical Installation Work, Including Construction Technical Implementations For Structures, Such As Penetrations. 6) Warranty And Maintenance (Maintenance And Repair) Of The Devices Included In The Delivery For The Duration Of The Life Cycle Of The Devices With A Service Agreement Valid Until Further Notice. The Supplier Must Take Into Account The Following Boundary Conditions In His Planning And Implementation: - The Installation Site Is A Protected Building - A Conservation Site, And All Installations Must Be Planned Respecting And Adapting To The Existing Structures. - Floor Bearing Capacity: Heavy Equipment Such As Ups Equipment
