Railway Construction Works – Innovation Partnership For Sustainable Sludge Removal Using Modular Mt.. Innovation Partnership For Sustainable Sludge Removal Using Innovative, Modular Machine Technology (Framework Agreement) // The Aim Of The Process Is To Conclude An Innovation Partnership With Up To Two Innovation Partners. The Innovation Partnership To Be Concluded Should Take Place In Two Stages: In A First Phase (Research And Development Phase), An Innovative, Modularly Usable Machine Technology Is To Be Developed In Accordance With The Clients Specifications, Which Enables The Sustainable Removal Of Sludge Areas In A Closure Break Of Up To 8 Hours. If The Development Goals Are Achieved, The Innovation Partners Should Provide Construction Services (Maintenance Work On The Railway Superstructure) Using The Innovative Machine Technology Developed For Sustainable Mud Removal (Performance Phase). The Performance Phase Is Designed As A Framework Agreement. In Addition, The Client Intends To Award A Certain Minimum Quantity To The Innovation Partners Per Contract Year As Part Of The Service Phase. These Are Quantity Commitments, The Amount Of Which The Client Undertakes To Commission The Respective Innovation Partner For The Duration Of The Service Phase (Framework Agreement). Please Refer To The Tender Documents For Further Details. // Background To The Procurement Project: Mud Spots Are The Cause Of A Large Number Of Slow Driving Zones And Possibly Even Route Closures. A Muddy Subsoil, Which Is Often Localized To Areas Of 10 To 50M, Is A Common Cause Of Track Position Errors. Their Sustainable Elimination While At The Same Time Having As Little Interference As Possible In Ongoing Railway Operations Is Therefore Of Particular Interest To Db Infrago Ag As The Client. Processing The Railway Superstructure Using Conventional Methods Or Using Large-Scale Machine Technology Does Not Always Enable The Causes Of A Mud Patch To Be Permanently Eliminated. These Causes Are To Be Addressed With The Innovation Partnership To Be Concluded, With A Strong Focus On Repairing And Restoring Drainage.
