PROJECT OVERVIEW Assignment: Revitalization of 86 PHCs Across 28 States (Batch 2) Construction Duration: 5 Months Defect Liability Period: 6 Months Start Date: 1 January 2026 End Date: 31 May 2026 Reporting To: UNICEF Nigeria Country Office Supply & Health Sections PROJECT BACKGROUND This initiative supports the Renewed Hope Agenda and the Nigerian Health Sector Renewal Investment Programme (NHSRIP), aimed at strengthening PHC delivery under the Sector-Wide Approach (SWAp). The project involves the rehabilitation and expansion of PHC structures, upgrades to inpatient wards and laboratories, and improvements to essential utilities including solar power, boreholes, and water systemsensuring compliance with UNICEF quality and safety standards.
