Domestic Animal Nurseries – Management Services Of Straight Animals Living In The Municipality Of Trikkai, 2026-2027. The Service Includes The Collection Of Stray Companion Animals, Their Transport To The Municipal Shelter For Stray Companion Animals, Hosting And Supervision In A Place Of Temporary Accommodation Or Increased Care Within The Municipal Shelter, Their Transport From/To The Municipal Veterinary Clinic For A Veterinary Check (Examination, Vaccination, Deworming, Sterilization), Settlement Within The Municipal Shelter Until Their Recovery, Reintegration/Reintegration Into Their Familiar Environment As Long As They Are Healthy And Sterilized. Hospitality And Day Care Includes Daily Feeding (Including The Supply Of Animal Feed) And Provision Of Daily Drinking Water, Cleaning Of The Accommodation Area, Regular Disinfection Of The Area (By Keeping An Updated Disinfection Book), An Effort For Appropriate Training For Their Socialization With The Aim Of Adoption But Also To Limit Aggression During Their Free Movement And An Effort For Yarding/Daily Training Of Stray Companion Animals. It Also Includes Their Isolation And Monitoring For Any Symptoms Of Rabies (Kya 331/10301), For Strays Judged By The Competent Committee To Be Dangerous And For Those Requiring Special And Increased Care And Receiving Special Treatment. Supervision At The Municipal Shelter For Stray Companion Animals Will Be Carried Out By The Staff Provided By The Contractor For The Daily Care Of The Animals Housed When They Are Collected And Until They Are Reintegrated Into The Natural Environment. The Daily Presence Of Staff (Including Volunteers) Is Required For At Least 8 Hours Per Day. The Contractor Must Respond Immediately (Within 1 Hour) To The Municipalitys Requests And In Any Emergency Or Dangerous Situation By Telephone Call, E-Mail From The Municipality, From The Citizens Service Line (2431020000) Or In Urgent Cases From Elas, The Municipal Police. The Collection Will Take Place On Weekdays And Holidays 24 Hours A Day And Covers The Entire Territory Of The Municipality Of Trikkaia. At The End Of Each Month, An Incident Report Is Drawn Up In Order For The Service To Be Informed About Each Animal Incident, Optionally Accompanied By Photographic Material. Tactic Approach Is Familiarization With Stray Animals, Providing Food And Water In A Calm Manner And Continuous Talking, So That It Is Possible To Put A Collar And Chain. If This Is Not Possible, The Arrest Can Be Made With Suitable Means Of Arrest To Be Made Available By The Contractor. Once The Animal Is Located, It Is Checked For Its Electronic Identification And/Or To Locate The Owner. If No Electronic Identification Or Owner Is Located, The Animal Is Considered A Stray And Is Placed In The Contractors Special Car And Then Taken To The Municipal Shelter For The Treatment And Care Of Stray Animals Which Has The Appropriate Facilities. The Contractor Is Obliged To Keep A Book Or Register Of Stray Animals
