Technical Planning Services – General Planner For District Heating Reheaters (Fwn). To Achieve Climate Positivity, Mvv Consistently Pursues Its Strategy Of Using Renewable Energies. The Planned Construction Of The District Heating Reheater (Fwn) Represents A Central Step In The Transformation Of The District Heating Supply In Mannheim. Against The Background Of The Further Short- To Medium-Term Decommissioning Of The Existing Coal-Fired Power Plant Blocks Of Grosskraftkraft Mannheim Ag (Gkm), The Reheating Of The District Heating Is An Indispensable Measure To Ensure Security Of Supply And The Necessary Temperature Requirements In The District Heating Network In The Long Term. The Fwn Not Only Ensures A Reliable Heat Supply, But Also Makes A Significant Contribution To The Decarbonization Of District Heating. Mvv Grünewärme Gmbh Is Planning To Build And Operate The District Heating Reheater With A Thermal Output Of 160 Mw At The Grosskraftwerk Mannheim Ag (Gkm) Site In Mannheim-Neckarau. The District Heating Reheater Should Essentially Consist Of Four Large Water Boilers (Steam Boilers) With A Thermal Output Of 40 Mw Each And A Smaller Auxiliary Steam Generator With Approx. 2.3 Mw. The Fwn Is Already Being Designed To Operate With Hydrogen As Fuel. Until The Fwn Is Connected To The Hydrogen Network, The Reheating System Will Be Operated With Natural Gas. The Subject Of The Tender Is All The Planning And Engineering Services Required For The Overall Planning And Overall Coordination Of The Project As Part Of The Project Implementation (General Planner). This Extends Over The Phases Of Implementation Planning, Design, Procurement, Manufacturing, Delivery, Construction, Integration Into The Infrastructure Of The Existing System, Quality Assurance, Training Of Operating Personnel, Commissioning, Trial Operation, Documentation. This Includes In Particular The Higher-Level Execution Planning, The Construction-Related Execution And Overall Planning As Well As Optionally The Construction And Assembly Supervision.
