Tender For Repair Resurfacing Of Internal And Main Roads Road Furniture Berms At Tb Ii And Dunkirk Line Under Age Br Ii In Ge C Khadki; 1 Repairs to pot holes ofdepth, not exc 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to atleast 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5kg per 10sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8kg per 10Sq m, blinded with 0.09Cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping) depth of potholes exc 30mm all as specified anddirected. 2 Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exc 400 Sqm ,exc 50mm and n exc 100mm deep all as specified anddirected. 3 Preparing Unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt all as specified anddirected. 4 M&L7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required, material to be used obtained from scaryfying all as specified and directed. 5 M&L for laying and compacting 75 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as pe table 400-13 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-1OOKN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 all as specified & directed by Engr-in-charge. 6 M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer VG 10 @ 7.5 kg per 10 sq m with sprayer over existing surface all as specified and directed. 7 M&L for Premix bituminous macadam with 4% binder of VG 30 (Paving bitumen any penetration) laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified & directed, duly rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8-12 tonne power roller all as specified and directed.Note : The contractors quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following elements(i) The contractor shall got the mix design done through Govt approved lab and same shall be got approved from GE before incarporating in the work.(ii) In case variation in the bitumen content as per approved mix design in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted with price adjustment. 8 M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer VG 10 @ 2.5 kg/10Sqm with sprayer over existing surface all as specified and directed by Eng in charge. 9 M&L for preparing Black top surfacesby brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt all as specified and directed by Eng in charge. 10 M&L for Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness using paving bitumen any penetration with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and dully rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8-12 tonne power roller and vibrating roller all as specified and directed 11 M&L for Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40 mm consolidated using paving bitumen any penetration with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix, rolled and dully rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8-12 tonne power roller and vibrating roller all as specified and directedNote : The contractors quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following elements(i) The contractor shall got the mix design done through Govt approved lab and same shall be got approved from GE before incarporating in the work.
