Construction Work – Knappschaft Kliniken University Hospital Bochum - Renovation Of High-Rise Beds. The Knappschaft Kliniken Universitätsklinikum Bochum Gmbh Bochum-Langendreer Intends To Completely Renovate The Existing High-Rise Bed Building Built In 1971. The Service Advertised Here Includes The Facade Work, Dismantling, Demolition E03-E15. The High-Rise Bed Building Exterior Façade, Consisting Of Opaque Surfaces With Exposed Concrete Cladding And Transparent Glass Elements, Of The Bochum Miners Hospital Is Being Renovated During Ongoing Operations. The Tendered Service Includes The Opaque Facade Areas With Exposed Concrete Panels In The Area In Front Of Wall Panels, Parapets And Attics. The Exposed Concrete Panels Are Dismantled Including The Joint Sealants, Insulation Panels Behind The Exposed Concrete Panels And The Entire Exposed Concrete Substructure. The Dismantling Service Also Includes The External Sun Protection Systems (Venetian Blinds; South Side), The External Aluminum Window Sills Of All Existing Windows And Window Bands As Well As The External Aluminum Sheet Cladding In Front Of The Wall Panes Between The Windows/Window Bands. The Service Does Not Include The Glass-Aluminum Window Elements, Which Largely Consist Of Horizontal And Vertical Window Strips And Perforated Windows. The Dismantling Work For These Facade Types Will Be Tendered Separately Later. The Glass Elements Must Not Be Damaged By The Dismantling Work And Must Continue To Meet Their Physical Building Properties. If Openings Are Exposed Or Shafts Are Exposed As A Result Of Dismantling, These Areas Must Be Closed Off From Wind And Airtight Using Suitable Measures, E.G. Fiber Cement Panels, Until The Façade Is Rebuilt. The University Hospital Is In Full Normal Operation. It Is Essential To Exclude Any Risk To Third Parties! The Interests Of The Hospital Must Always Be Taken Into Account. Access Routes For Emergency Vehicles Must Be Kept Clear At All Times. The Instructions Of Defined Groups Of People In The Hospital Must Be Followed. If The Service Is Interrupted For Up To 2 Hours, There Is No Entitlement To Additional Compensation If This Is Justified By Medical Care. In Some Areas, Operations Are Taking Place That Are To Be Given Higher Priority Than Construction Work.
