Tender For Special Repair To Earthling Infrastructure At Af Stn Bhowali; 1 M & L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6mm thick, burried directly in ground (earth pit not less then 2.25m deep bellow ground level) with top edge of the plate not less then 1.5m deep below normal ground level connected to galvanised iron earth wire of 4.0 mm earth lead by means of bolt, nuts, washers of galvanised steelearth strip protected by and including GI pipe 40mm dia bore (light grade) and conncted to main test point as directed and including concrete pit in PCC(1:3:6) type C-1 precast RCC(1:1.5:3) type A-1 cover slab 54 x 54 cm reinforced with 4mm dia TMT bars @ 150 mm c/c both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia TMT bar embedded in precast cover slab funnel wire mens 20mm bore GI pipe (medium grade) for watering charcoal and salt in altemate layers, including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil complete all as shown on electrical plate No 3 of SSR part-I complete all as specified and directed. Note :-. In case desired resistance value is not achieved, earthing shallbe re-done by the contractor without ant extra cost to govt. 2 M&L for earthing complete with chemical earthing complete with copperearthplate 90cm X 60cm X5 mm burried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 metredeep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not lessthan1.5 metre below normal groundlevel and filling the hole with advance non toxic earth enhancing backfill compound (qty not less than 130 Kgs) and water till complete soaking of Chemical- watermixture surrounded from all sides of copper plate by 15 cm thick and electrode connections by using copper strip 50 X 6mm as earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of brassand protected by light grade 40 mm dia GI pipe connected to main switch board or main control board, and GI pipe light grade 15 mm bore for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, RCC pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC 1: 2: 4 type C2 including excavation and earth work, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 mtr all as specified and as shown on Plate No 3 of SSR Part I dismanteling of existing unserviceable erth pitall as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note :-The earth resistantance value mustbe wellbelow of 1 Ohm irrespective to seasons and any unforeseen condition. In case desired resistance value is not achieved, earthing shallbe re-done by the contractor without ant extra cost to govt. 3 M&L for earthing complete with copper plate electrode of size60cm x 60cm x 3.15 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 metredeep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not lessthan1.5 metre below normal groundlevel surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt, filling in alternate layer and electrode connections by using copper strip 20 x 3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers made of copper and protected by light grade 40 mm dia GI pipe connected to main switch board or main control board, and GI pipe light grade 20 mm bore for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, RCC pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC 1: 2: 4 type C2 including excavation and earth work, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 mtr all as specified and as shown on Plate No 3 of SSR Part I (2009),all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note :-The earth resistant value mustbe wellbelow of 3 Ohm irrespective to seasons and any unforeseen condition. In case desired resistance value is not achieved, earthing shallbe re-done by the contractor without ant extra cost to govt. 4 M&L Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to valve on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawing in conduit or any other situation for loop earthing etc as required 4 mm dia galvanized steel wireall as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge 5 M&L Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to valve on batten or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawing in conduit or any other situation for loop earthing etc as required 20 X 3.15 mm dia copper strip all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge 6 M&L for aluminium strip 25 X 3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws Etc. for roof conductor and down conductor above ground level complete all as specified and directed. 7 M&L for copper strip 32 X 6 mm with saddles and fixing screws Etc. for roof conductor and down conductor above ground level complete all as specified and directed. 8 M&L for air termination single pointed Copper 12 mm dia and 300 mm long complete all as specified and directed. 9 Material and labour for test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75 X75X25 mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos.8 mm dia 25 mm long hex.head screw complete all as specified and directed. 10 S&F 40 mm dia GI tubing light grade including cutting to desired length complete all as specified and directed. 11 Supply and fixing pre-casted RCCearth pit cover of size slab 54 x 54 cm reinforced with 4mm dia TMT bars @ 150 mm C/C both ways with one handle for lifting made out of 8mm dia TMT bar embedded in precast cover slab for replacing broken/ unserviceable pit cover complete all as specified and directed by Engr -in-Charge. 12 Supply and fixing funnel alongwith wire mesh in replacement of missing/ unserviceable item all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 13 Supply & fixing porcelain supporting insulator of existing size / adequate size fixing on wall / roof for insulating and supporting the lightning strips to protect during lightning. 14 M&L for brazing each joint of any type, any size, any type of thickness of copper earthing strip in AF Stn Bhowali with genuine quality of material complete all as specified and directed. 15 Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation, laying of cable sets and getting outin hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed. 16 Removing excavated material (Soil) n.exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed. 17 Returning, filling in including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25cm depth in soilcomplete all as specified and directed. 18 Supply and fixing Galvanised steel tubing, medium grade, with fittings and MS clamps, nuts, bolts etc of 15 mm dia bore for cable protection on pole, road crossing or ground in pillars for fixing gate light etc complete all as specified and directed. 19 M&L for Cutting existing steel tubing for alterations or additions (Each cut measured) 25/40/50 mm bore complete all as specified and directed. 20 Supply and fixing brass gate/Gun-metal globe valve 15 mm bore with iron wheel head comlete in replacement for spigot/socket ends for GI pipe including cutting of pipes and insertion of union ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.
