All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by department for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture.(iii). After carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GEbefore application of distemper for each building.(iv).The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE. 82 M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of exterior wall by removing existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700)along with dust extraction system for clean environment , then washing the surface with Bleaching powder solution for treatment of fungal growth and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion painthaving three years of performance warranty over a coat of exterior water based primerall as specified and prescribed by manufacturer of paint and as directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.Note:- (i) The old surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacturer instruction before application of distemper.The cost of materials, labour & T&P required for preparation of surface are demand to be included in the rates quoted.(ii) All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by Contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by department for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture.(iii). After carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE before application of distemper for each building.(iv).The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE.(v) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor. 83 ditto- all as per Ser No 70 above but two coats of weather coat emulsion paint complete all as specified and directed. 84 M&L two coats of weather proof emulsion paint weather coat(having three years performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primeron newly plastered surfaceincluding preparation surface complete all as specified and directed. 85 M&L for twocoats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of new steel surface over 10cm width or grith complete all as specified and directed. 86 Removal of existing roof treatment i.e. APP Membrane or brick tiling including concrete padding and benching and open up RCC roof slab including picking, sweeping cleaning with wire brush and washing down with water to remove dust, dirt to get surface free of laitance, scales, oil or any other loose material without damaging existing serviceable structure complete to receive new roof treatment including rubbish off the premises upto a distance exc 250 mtr but n.exc 500 mtr complete all as specified and directed. 87 M&L forPCC (1:2:4) Type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) padding mixed withliquid water proofing compound (as per manufacturer instruction and paid separately) over and including one coat of cement slurry admixed with acrylic bonding compound SBR Latex liquid polymer as to be used for bonding of new concrete/mortar to old surface as per manufacturer instruction and finishing the surface even and smooth (without using extra cement) as in roof padding/Sunken floor, kerb/bencing alongwith parapet including rounded, chamfered on edges complete all as specified and directed. Note : Proportion of mix and method of mixing of approved concrete admixture should be applied as per manufacturer"sinstructions) 88 M&L for10mm thick screed bedding in CM (1:3) mixed with acrylic bonding compound SBR Latex liquid polymer finished the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.(Note : Proportion should be applied as per manufacturer"sinstructions) 89 M&L of water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane as per manufacturer"s instructions with following course of description below :-(i) Applying a priming one coat of bituminious primer evenly @ 0.30 Kg/Sqm till the surface is properly impregnated.(ii) Providing APP based 5 layer polymeric membrane minimum weight 3.00 Kg/Sqm and minmum 3mm thick reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric matt (weight not less than 150 gms/Sqm) centre core laid on primed surface by torced applications as per the manufacturer"s instructions with side over lap of 75mm and end overlap of 100mm.
