The Object Of The Contract Is The Provision Of 24-Hour Security Services For The Housing Buildings Of The Central Service Of Mod Sa. On 78A Louizis Riancourt Street In Athens And Of The Certification Authority On 11 Navarchos Nikodimos And Voulis Streets In Athens, As Well As The Connection Of The Buildings Alarm Systems With The Security Companys Central Signal Receiving Station. The Service Provided Is Classified Under The Code Of The Common Vocabulary Of Public Contracts (Cpv): 79713000-5 (Security Services). The Estimated Value Of The Contract Amounts To Five Hundred And Seventy-Eight Thousand Two Hundred And Fifty Euros (€578,250.00) Excluding Vat And Seven Hundred And Seventeen Thousand And Thirty Euros (€717,030.00) Including Vat Of 24%, For A Contract Duration Of Thirty-Six (36) Months And In Addition The Exercise Of An Option, On Behalf Of Mod Sa, With Extension Of The Duration Of The Contract For Up To Six (6) Additional Months, Estimated Value Up To The Amount Of One Hundred And Nineteen Thousand Five Hundred And Five Euros (€119,505.00) Including Vat 24% (Budget Without Vat: €96,375.00 Plus Vat 24%: €23,130.00). This Contract Is Not Divided Into Parts And Is Assigned As A Single Whole For The Following Reasons: This Contract Concerns The Provision Of Guarding Services For Two Office Facilities With 24-Hour Physical Presence Of Security Personnel And Connection Of The Facilities To A Center For Receiving Alarm Signals. The Non-Subdivision Of The Contract Into Individual Sections Is Considered Necessary, In Order To Achieve The Uniform And Combined Provision Of Guarding Services, With Common Management Of The Alarm Signals By The Reception Center, Ensuring The Immediacy Of Response And Avoiding Overlapping Responsibilities That Could Arise From The Involvement Of More Providers. Furthermore, The Provision Of Custody Services And The Involvement Of Staff From A Service Provider, Who Will Have A Physical Presence And Access To Workplaces, Records And Staff, Ensures The Protection Of Sensitive Information, Important Records Related To Personal Data And Payment Requests From The Eu To The Member State, As Well As The Security Of Central Information Systems. Outsourcing To A Security Service Provider Facilitates Administrative And Procedural Functions, Such As Uniform Application Of Security Protocols, Flexible Distribution Of Personnel Between Building Facilities Where Required, Application Of Uniform Standards Of Assessment, Training And Security Screening (E.G. Criminal Record Check, Confidentiality, Incident Handling) And 24-Hour Operational Continuity. Subdivision Of The Contract Into Parts Would Lead To Different Levels Of Quality And Security And It Might Not Be Possible To Ensure The Compatibility Of Security Personnel And Especially The Uniform Management Of Confidentiality Rules. In The Context Of The Above, The Assignment Of The Entire Project To A Single Security Service Provider
