Tender For Special Repairs To Certain Buildings And Provision Of New Works In C-1 Sector Under Ge (South) Ambala Cantt.; 1 Taking down wooden chowkats or frames with shutter (without taking off shutter from the frames), area not exceeding 1.5 Sqm each and removal from site including iron mongery hold fasts etc., complete all as specified. 2 Taking down wooden chowkats or frames with shutter (without taking off shutter from the frames), areaexceeding 1.5 Sqm and not exceeding 4.00 Sqm each, complete all as specified. 3 Supply & fixingof windows made of pre-painted steel (Base steel as per IS 513 of 0.58mm thick “D” Quality galvanized as per IS 277 with zinc of 120 GSM). Primer coated with epoxy primer of 5-7 microns thick, finish painted with a polyester paint of 12-16 microns thick and back coated with 5-7 microns thick alkyd backer. Section for outer frame should be of 72x55mm, centre mullion should be of 72x50mm, section for fixed glass beading should be of 12x12mm and section for shutter should be of 48 x 25mm. Outer frame & mullion sections to have rebate for glazed shutters, fly mesh and 20 mm provision for guard bars/ grills fly mesh shutter section should be of 20x40mm. Fair andeven complete all as specified and directed. 41 Material andLabour for preparation of exposed brick wall surface by cleaning the surface wire brush to remove all dirt/loose materials from the bricks and from the joints between the bricks. Prepared surface should be then washed with diluted HCL acid (dilution ratio of 1:50) for three times in a day for two days. After acid wash surface should be allowed to be air dried for one day. NOTE : - Further treatment over the surface so achieved will be carried out only after approved of the same by GE. 42 Material and labour for efflorescence treatment to unplastered wall surface comprising of the following specification complete all as specified and as directed.(a) Prime the prepared surface with one of the following product mixed with cement in 1:1 ratio as bonding agent : -(i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite. (ii) Sika Latex of M/S Sika.(iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/S FOSROC.(b) Immediately after priming the surface PMM (Polymer Modified Mortar) to be applied “BY HAND” while the prime is tacky. PMM should be prepared by mixing one of the following compounds in Cement Mortar 1:3 as per manufacturer’s instructions: -(i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite.(ii) Sika Latex of M/S Sika.(iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/S FOSROC.(c) PMM surface should be allowed to dry for one day. After that it should painted with two coats of one of the following compound mixed with cement only in ratio of 1 (selected compound) : 1:5 (Cement) : - (i) Pidicrete URP of M/S Pidilite.(ii) Sika Latex of M/S Sika. (iii) Nitobond SBR Latex of M/S FOSROC.(d) Now apply two coats of one of the following compound over the surface. These compounds are to be used as per manufacturer’s instructions: -(i) Pidifin 2K of M/S Pidilite (ii) Brush Coat of M/S Sika.(iii) Brush Bond of M/S FOSROC.
