The Procurement Will Be Carried Out As Part Of The Gypsum Operations Coordinated By The Central Finland Ely Center, Starting January 1, 2026, By The Southwest Finland Vitality Center. Gypsum Operations Are Carried Out With The Funds Allocated Annually In The State Budget And With The Help Of Other Possible Additional Funding. Gypsum Activity Continues The Gipsi Project Managed By Varsinais-Suomen Ely Center, Which Started In 2020. The Kipsi Project Expanded In 2022 In The Form Of The Kipsi 2.0 Project To Also Cover Catchment Areas Outside The Archipelago Sea. Both Kipsi Projects Will End At The End Of 2025. Gypsum Treatment Of Fields Is Known To Effectively Reduce The Amount Of Nutrients Leached From Fields Into Waterways, Especially In Clayey Catchment Areas. The Goal Of The Future Gypsum Operations Is To Reduce The Leaching Of Solids And Phosphorus Into Waterways By Continuing The Gypsum Treatments Of Agricultural Lands That Were Started During The Gipsi Projects. The Aim Is To Evaluate The Effects Of Plaster Treatments On Water Bodies By Means Of Targeted Water Quality Monitoring Defined As Expert Collaboration. The Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Continue The Water Quality Monitoring Started In The Kipsi 2.0 Project. The Water Protection Effects Of Gypsum Are Monitored At A Maximum Of Eleven (11) Sampling Points. The Sampling Points Are Located In The Ähtävänjoki, Perhonjoki, Lohtajanjoki And Temmesjoki Watersheds. Monitoring Water Bodies Include Areas Treated With Soil Conditioners And An Untreated Reference Area. The Final Number Of Sampling Points Is Determined By The Monitoring Allocations Allocated To The Gypsum Operation Each Year. The Information And Coordinates Of The Preliminary Sampling Points Are Presented In More Detail In Appendix 1 Of This Request For Tender. The Object Of The Procurement Is The Taking Of Water Samples And Analysis Of The Samples. A Maximum Of 32 Sampling Times Is Accumulated During The Contract Year (January 1, 2026-December 31, 2026) And A Maximum Of 32 During The Option Year (January 1, 2027-December 31, 2027). Sampling Is Carried Out At Agreed Times From A Maximum Of Eleven (11) Sampling Points. Sampling Is Carried Out From Water Bodies During Melt Water. Sampling Focuses On Times Of High Flow, So In Addition To The Winter Break, There Is A Short Break During Summer Low Flows. The Determinations To Be Performed On The Samples Are Detailed In More Detail In Appendix 1 Of This Call For Tenders.
