The Project Includes The Construction Of An Approximately 51.50 M Long And 3.50 M Wide Three-Span Foot And Cycle Path Bridge Over The Heuweg Street In Order To Create An Intersection-Free Connection Between The Fossilienweg, Which Has Already Been Developed As A Footpath And Cycle Path To The North, And The Former Route Of The Lower Ruhrtalbahn (Former Railway Line Kettwig - Mülheim Ruhr), Which Continues To The South. This Project Is Part Of The Untere Ruhrtalbahn Cycle Path, Which Is Part Of The Project The International Garden Exhibition 2027 (Iga 2027). The Bridge Will Create A Direct And Continuous Route For Bicycle And Pedestrian Traffic And Thus Significantly Improve The Connection Between The Müga Site In The North And The Saarn District In The South. The Structure Is To Be Founded In The South (Axis A) Behind The Remains Of The Old Railway Bridge Abutment And A Newly Constructed Wing Wall Along Alte Straße. The Pillar Of Axis B Is Located In The Green Area Next To The Northern Walkway Of The Heuweg, The Foundation Axes C And D Are Located In The Area Of ​​The Fossilienweg Walk And Cycle Path.
