Market Consultation Storage And Transshipment Hra And Gft The Cooperative Association Midwaste Milieu Ua Is A Partnership Of 16 Government-Dominated Waste And Cleaning Services, Spread Throughout The Netherlands. Midwaste Intends To Launch Two (2) European Tenders For The Processing Of 1) Household Residual Waste (Hra) And 2) Vegetable, Fruit And Garden Waste + Food Leftovers (Gft). This Tender Is Organized By Midwaste For A Large Number Of Midwaste Members. The Effective Date Of The New Hra And Gft Processing Contracts To Be Concluded Is February 1, 2028. Before These Tenders Are Published, Midwaste Will Explore The Market For Suitable Licensed Storage And Transshipment (O&O) Locations In The Region Where The Hra And Gft Are Collected By Its Members/Municipalities And Subsequently Checked By The O&O, Accepted And Temporarily Transshipped Before Being Transported To The Processor. The Logistics Of The Hra And/Or Gft To The Processing Locations Are Outside The Scope Of This Market Consultation And Will Be Set Out Separately By Midwaste. Based On The Input From The Market Consultation, Midwaste Will Determine A Tender Strategy To Contract R&D Locations In A Timely Manner. The Intention Is To Put Out The Tender For The R&D Activities In Early 2027. We Expect To Publish The Tender For The Processing Of Hra And Gft In Early 2026. That Is Why We Apply A Strict Deadline For Submitting The Midwaste R&D Market Consultation Questions. Unfortunately, This Cannot Be Deviated From. The Deadline For Submitting The Midwaste O&D Market Consultation Questions Is December 12, 2025 At 12:00 Noon. Your Input Is Of Great Value And Is Greatly Appreciated. If A Company With R&D Activities Does Not Register, We Assume That The Company In Question Is Not Interested. This May Be Due To, For Example, A Lack Of Capacity Or Due To The Inability To Have The Correct Permit For The Hra And/Or Organic Waste Flows. If It Turns Out That There Is Only One Suitable Location Available In An Area, Midwaste Intends To Conclude An Agreement For This Location With The Company In Question By Means Of An Announcement Of Voluntary Transparency In Advance.
