As Part Of The Special Investment Program 2 From The Federal Government, The State Of Berlin And The State Of Brandenburg, The Roof Renovation Of The New Palace Is Planned. This Includes The Repair Of The Roof Structure, Sandstone Balustrades And Main Cornice, Sculptures And Renewal Of The Roof Waterproofing And Copper Covering. Before The Work Begins, The Attics Are Decontaminated. The Repair Of All Attics Is Divided Into 6 Construction Phases. The Advertised Scaffolding Work Relates To The Construction Sections On The Northern Corps De Logis With The Garden Side, Middle Corps De Logis (4Th Ba) And Heinrich Wing (5Th Ba). The Roof Space Is Subject To High To Very High Loads Due To Various And Highly Toxic Wood Preservatives (Pcp, Ddt, Lindane). Before The Scaffolding Is Erected, The Cantilevered Base Plateau On Which The New Palace Rests Must Be Bridged With Steel Girders And Supporting Scaffolding In Front As A Base Point And For The Purpose Of Load Transfer. Relevant Building Entrances Must Be Bridged And Made Accessible With Staircases Made From System Parts.
