Tender For Repair And Maintenance Of Internal Roads Including Connected Road Furniture Items In Aor Of Age B/R-I Of Ge (U) Meerut Cantt; 1 Repair to pot holes any depth not exc. 1 sqm each incl sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth andmaking good by applying tack coat of paving bitumen Vg10/Vg30 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm surface area, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.80 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chipping, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings ) complete all as specified & directed. 2 Preparing old black toped surfaces of road by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen Vg10/Vg30 @ 5 kg per 10 sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm thick (compacted thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @5.5% (approximate) by weight, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient toachieve uniform smooth surface with power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity, complete all as specified & directed. 3 Repairs to existing damaged/broken bituminous road surfaces in patches using bituminous macadam including brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 (80/120 grade) @ 5 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and laying premixed bituminous macadam using binder (Bitumen VG-10 grade) contents @ 4 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface etc, complete all as specified and directed 4 M&L for preparation biruminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick cenrtre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n exc 10 cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermostatic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicators machine all as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and directed 5 S & F in repair Solar stud with 3 LEDs of red/yellow colour on each side (total 6 Nos) housed in a tough pressure die casted aluminum alloy of size 125x125mm with built in stem of suitable length with LEDs, solar-cells, battery & light sensor duly covered with tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet on top. Equiped with solar system workable for 2-3 days (night) after full charge of 8-10 hours, fixed on road surface by cutting hole and grouting with epoxy all as per manufacture"s instruction, etc complete all as specified and directed. 6 S & F in repairMS dual rectangulardelineator having dimension of 100x1100x20mm approx weight 2-3 kg ,3M dimamond grade type XI DG3 reflective sheet ofhigh intensity reflector (white/black) . All steel parts powder coated to make all weather resistant, including excavation in any strata and embeded in PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 of size 30cm x 30cm x 20cm, etc complete all as specifeid and directed. 7 Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions. 8 Supply and fix rubber speed breaker heavy duty tough rubber and polyethelene with high resistance wear and tear property best suitable hight of 3 inch for speed restriction UV stabilized colours in black and yellow combination ,high reflective mark showing arrows in white are marked on both sides of yellow and black pieces size of speed breaker 420x500x75 mm .the speed breaker to be fixed with epoxy and hardner and bolts as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed. 9 S&F Convex Mirror 800mm dia is used at any kind of blind turns,its used of roads and parking where it is not possible to see the other side of the road because of the blind turn Unbreakable Convex Mirror Very Durable complete all as specified and directed fixed with PCC 1:3:6 incl excavation of post hole size 60x60x90 CM complete all as specified and directed. 10 Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Overhead informatory road signage and boards, made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - III of ASTMD- 4956-01 as approved by Engineer-in-charge, letters, borders etc. as per IRC : 67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with highintensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets or bolts & nuts @ 300 mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows along with theft resistant measures, including the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of aluminium sheet including appropriate priming coat. The rate includes the cost of rounding off the corners, lowering down the structural frame work from the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the engineer-in-charge.(Structural frame work including M.S. plate to be provided separately.
