Construction Work For Tunnels – Renewal Of The Rauenthal Tunnel, Kib And Va. The Rauenthal Tunnel Is Located On The 2700 Km 56.07 - 56.35 Route Near Wuppertal. The Tunnel Is In Need Of Renovation Due To Its Age And The Associated Damage. As Part Of The Measure, The Tunnel And The Adjacent Traffic Facilities Are To Be Renovated In Order To Ensure Safe Operation Through The Tunnel In The Future. For This Purpose, The Two Single-Track Tunnel Tubes Will Be Driven Over And The Mountain Pillar In Between Will Be Broken Out To Create A New Double-Track Tunnel Tube.
