Construction Work For Electricity Power Lines – L225 110-Kv-Ltg. Niederurnen - Grynau, Cable Pipe Block. 1.1 Introduction Axpo Grid Ag Is Planning To Convert The Voltage From 50 Kv To 110 Kv For Axpos National Distribution Network In Order To Ensure Long-Term Security Of Supply Throughout Northeastern Switzerland. The Existing Windegg – Niederurnen Substation Overhead Line Will Be Dismantled And Laid Underground In The Future. The Line Section Of The New Construction Of The 110 Kv Line Grynau – Niederurnen Begins At Mast No. 92 In The Municipality Of Schänis, Which Will Be Closed. The Lines Will Be Supported By Two Newly Constructed 92A/B Masts And Will Cross The Linth Canal With 2 Flushing Boreholes. The Cable Route Then Runs In The Municipality Of Glarus Nord Along The Causeway Of The Linth Canal To The Residential Area Of Ziegelbrücke. The Route Continues Along Ziegelbrückstrasse And Fabrikstrasse. The Lower Factory Canal Is Crossed With A Flushing Borehole And The Sbb Route Is Crossed Under With A Press Drilling System. The National Road Is Then Crossed Using Another Flushing Borehole. The Cable Pipe Block Then Continues Through The Agricultural Land To The Niederurnen Substation. The New, Buried Line Extends Over Around 3 Km. The Cable Pipe Block Is Generally Around 1.40 M Deep And Is Between 0.8-1.5 M Wide. Around 2.5 Km Of This Lies Within Cultivated Or Agricultural Land, Mostly Along Roads Or Field Paths. Together With The New Cable Duct Block From Axpo Grid Ag, St. Gallisch-Appenzellische Kraftwerke Ag (Sak) Will Lay Cable Duct Systems In Parallel Along The Entire Length. The Technical Operations Glarus Nord And Sn Energie Will Also Build Pipe Systems In Sections Together With The Cable Pipe Block From Axpo Grid Ag, Sometimes Separately. All Planned Measures (Cable Pipe Route, Crossings Under Bodies Of Water And Modes Of Transport Are Included In The Planning Documents For The Submission. The Dismantling Of The Existing Overhead Line Is Not The Subject Of This Submission. The Work Is Accompanied By Environmental Construction Monitoring And Soil Science Construction Monitoring.
