Procurement Plan for Construction, Completion, Operation, and Maintenance of Rainwater Drainage Systems for the Areas of (Sabah Al-Ahmad, South Sabah Al-Ahmad, Khiran Residential, and Wafra Residential) Detailed Objectives: Economic: 1. Providing job opportunities for the contracting sector. 2. Increasing capital market activity. 3. Revitalizing the area economically due to the presence of an existing service road with all infrastructure services, serving all surrounding plots, which will stimulate the real estate and commercial markets surrounding the project. 4. Establishing new infrastructure to serve the plots allocated for the project by providing them with services from the Ministry of Electricity & Water, sanitary drainage services, telephone services, and other necessary services for the plots. B- Social: 1. Providing safe traffic service for road users. 2. Utilizing the available labor force in the local market. 3. Multiple entrances and exits to and from the plot will avoid traffic congestion problems. 4. Connecting the areas with roundabouts will increase the fluidity of movement between them. 5. Providing lighting for the road will make road users safer when using the road at night. Scope of Work: Design, maintenance, and development of service roads and infrastructure, including all services of government ministries, in addition to sanitary and rainwater drainage networks in the ArRiqqa area, east of Plot (1) and Plot (3).
