Provision Of Drainage Flushing On The Koralmbahn Using Mdb Flushing Box - Use Of The Öbbs Own Mdb Flushing Box (Mdb 02) In The Granitztaltunnel And Partly In The Koralmtunnel - Provision Of Another - Still To Be Built - Mdb Flushing Box (Mdb 03) By The Contractor To Cover Requirements In The Koralmtunnel For The Required Drainage Cleaning, The Mdb Flushing Box Will Be In The Intersection Block Travel Tunnel Tube/Cross Passage Positioned Above The Central Flushing Shaft And Connected To The Supply Lines. The Mdb Flushing Box Remotely Flushes All Drainage From The Flushing Shaft In Both Line Pipes And In The Cross Passage Over A Length Of Approx. 600M Each Without Hindering Railway Operations. Parallel To The Flushing, Quality Assurance Takes Place At The Same Time Using Camera Inspection. After The Rinsing Process Has Been Completed, The Mdb Rinsing Box Is Transported To The Next Installation Point During A Break In Operation And Begins Rinsing Again. Mdb Stands For Modular Drainage Flushing System Railwaymdb Rinsing Box: Machine (Flushing Tools, Pumps, Control...) For Remote-Controlled Flushing Of Tunnel Drainage Using System Components Permanently Installed In The Tunnel For Water, Power And Data Supply.
