On The Bleiburg – San Candido Route, Two New Side Platforms Will Be Built At The Existing Rothenthurn Öbb Station Km 191,300 To Öbb Km 193,000. Furthermore, The Station Will Receive A New Platform Track, Track 4. On The Existing Edge Platform, Track 3, The Edge Of The Platform Will Be Repositioned And The Platform Will Be Converted Or Equipped To The State Of The Art. A Passenger Tunnel Including Lifts Will Be Built At Öbb Km 191,780 To Connect The Platforms. A New Park&Ride Facility Including A Bus Stop Will Be Built At The Edge Of Platform 4. The Station Will Also Receive Two New Bike & Ride Facilities With A Roof. The Staircase Exits And The Waiting Shelter On The Edge Of Platform Platform 4 Will Be Covered. As Part Of The Station Renovation, The Existing Community Road Will Be Demolished, Widened And Rebuilt Over A Length Of Approx. 350 M As Access To The Park&Ride Facility And To The Platform 4 Bus Stop. Seepage Slots Will Be Built To Drain The Municipal Road. Furthermore, The Railway Crossing At Öbb Km 191.486 Will Be Renovated And The Existing Municipal Road Will Be Adapted To This Area. At Öbb Km 192.529, The Schwarzenbach Railway Bridge Is Being Renovated. The Bridge Will Receive A New Supporting Structure As Well As New Wing Walls, Edge Beams And Cable Trough Outlets. The Cable Troughs And Pipe Routes Are Being Built Throughout The Entire Project Area. Multi-Purpose Pipes Including Cleaning Shafts Will Be Built To Drain Track 2. The Diversion Takes Place Into New Railway Ditches.
