The Following Activities Are Included In The Scope Of The Public Contract For The Implementation Of Engineering (Design, Construction And Exercise Of Author Supervision): Activity 1 - Preparation Of An Investment Project In The Working Project Phase, Including The Preparation Of A Technical Solution For The Restoration Of The Spillway, Containing The Following Main Elements: - Technical Solution For The Deformation Joints Between The Blocks And Strengthening The Coating And Construction With Appropriate Materials, Guaranteeing The Durability Of The Implementation; - Scheme And Method Of Organization Of The Work On The Implementation Of Decisions On The Strengthening Of The Water And Air Slope Of The Spillway; - Measures To Ensure The Safety Of Those Working On The Task; - For The Duration Of The Repair And Restoration Works, The Contracting Authority, Through The Operator Of The Dam (Irrigation Systems Ead), Will Ensure That The Water Level In The Dam Is Lowered To An Elevation Of Hv=593.30M, Through The Main Outlet, To Be Maintained At This Level For The Duration Of The Repair Activities. It Should Be Taken Into Account That The Lowering Of Vn From Elevation 597.15 To Elevation 593.30 Forms A Volume Of W=2,317,000 M3, Which Will Pass Through The Bed Of The Iskar River In The City Of Sofia, Taking Into Account The Capacity Of The River; – The Emergency Repair Should Cover Not Only The Removal Of The Leak, But Also Any Established Or Potential Weaknesses; - To Take Into Account The Seizing Of Sediments From The Site In Front Of The Siphon Spillways; – To Carefully Consider The Placement Of Machinery On The Facility Itself, Which Will Probably Require A Complex Construction Organization To Position The Machinery On The Site In Front Of The Siphon Spillways And Also On The Dry Side; - To Precisely Predict The Implementation Period. Activity 2 - Implementation Of Smr (Construction And Installation Works) According To The Approved Investment Project. - Restoration Of The Watertightness Of All Deformation Joints Of The Facility; – Removal Of All Compromised Sections Of The Spillway Cover On The Water And Air Side; – Restoring The Geometry And Structural Security Of The Structure Of The Compromised Elements; - Removal Of Compromised Areas On The Spillway Wing Walls And Crown And Restoration.
