Agricultural, Farming, Fishing, Forestry And Related Products – Strö. Umeå University Procures Bedding Material (Aspen Shavings) For Laboratory Animal Operations At The Universitys Facilities. The Aim Is To Ensure A Continuous And Safe Supply Of High-Quality Aspen Shavings To Maintain Good Animal Welfare And A Safe Working Environment. A Framework Agreement Is Signed With One (1) Supplier For Two (2) Years With The Possibility Of Extension For A Further Two (2) Periods Of One (1) Year Each. The Annual Volume Is Estimated At Approximately 40,000 Kg With A Value Of Approximately Sek 400,000. The Aspen Chips Must Be Manufactured From Fresh, Healthy And Debarked Wood From Toxicologically Secured Areas And Meet Requirements For Analysis Of Moisture, Dust, Chemicals, Microbiological Agents And Heavy Metals. A Certificate Of Analysis Must Be Attached To Each Delivery. The Assignment Includes Delivery Of Ddp To Umeå University According To Specified Requirements For Packaging, Pallet Format And Bag Size.
