Legal Services – Patent Exploitation. The Subject Of The Project “Patent Exploitation In Hamburg – Supporting The Patent Activities Of The Hamburg Patent Association” Is The Improved Exploitation Of Inventions From Public Research In Hamburg. Hamburgs Patent-Active Universities And Two Non-University Research Institutions Strive To Make Their Knowledge Resources Transparent To The Economy And Accessible To Exploitation Outside Of Science By Identifying, Protecting And Marketing Research Results. The Individual Network Partners Also Want To Use The Responsible Handling Of Their Own Intellectual Property To Raise Their Profile In Politics, Society And Business. The Project Is Coordinated By The Technical University Of Hamburg (Tuhh). The Tuhh Is Applying For The States Funding For The Seven Invention-Relevant Hamburg Universities Tuhh, University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf, Helmut Schmidt University, University Of Hamburg, University Of Applied Sciences Hamburg (Haw Hamburg), Hafencity University (Hcu) And University Of Music And Theater Hamburg (Hfmt) As Well As The Two Non-University Research Institutes (Aufs) Bernhard Nocht Institute For Tropical Medicine (Bnitm) And The Leibniz Institute For Experimental Virology (Liv). In This Sense, The Tuhh Is The Applicant And Recipient Of The Funding. The Universities And Leibniz Institutes Receive Financial Support From The Free And Hanseatic City Of Hamburg, The Authority For Science, Research And Equality, In Carrying Out The Exploitation Task. In The Course Of Setting Up The Startup Factory, Close Cooperation Between Patentverbund And The Start-Up Factory In The Ip Area Is Expected. As An External Service Provider, A Patent Exploitation Agency (Pva) Is To Be Commissioned To Carry Out The Operational Business. In Addition To Advising Universities, Aufs And Inventor Teams, Examining Inventions And Patent Management As Well As Providing Strategy Advice On Intellectual Property Rights, The External Service Provider Supports Property Rights Applications In Collaboration With Selected Patent Law Firms. The External Service Provider Should Also Support The Collaboration With The Start-Up Factory.
